Thanks for the kind wishes ladies, back home and Poppy is fine and sparked out in her cot!
Doctor checked her over, and has increased some medication which will sort her out. He will see her next Friday again for a check over. He really is fab, he even stayed late to see us! Going to send him a thank you card when Poppy turns 1 next month!
Some really good weaning advice Nutella which I may use! Poppy tried to grab my Mum's kit kat today and screamed the cafe down when my Mum moved her hand - she is getting a strong willed little madam!!
Me and hubby have just sorted and labelled our stuff for tomorrow, all being well we should hopefully make around £200.00!!

Glad poppy ok jannine
Hello sunshine !
Elelyn glad to hear things are bit better, it seems to me mums who don't have difficulties with feeding are a rare breed, one thing I have learnt is go with your instincts ! We ended up combo feeding then sole ff late on after Scott lost too much so spent many a time paranoid about it, so would say try not to worry yourself over it all your LO will be fine with ff0 -
Morning all
Jannine - glad poppy is ok.
Ro - that's a great price. We just ordered the cosatto yo blackjack.
Hope everyone slept well.
Noah is happily bouncing in his jumperoo at the moment watching The Smurfs with ds1 and ds2!! So I'm going to crack in with the house work whilst he is happy!

I remember you saying on here you found one in there so I went to have a look in our local branch but they had nothing
I love The Works it's so cheap compared to other book shops.

Hi ladies .. Looking for a bit of advice on daytime naps.. My little one is 9wk now and is sleeping really well during night from 8pm to 3/4am and then going back off til 7/8am.... But she's really struggling with daytime naps... She'll fall asleep on my chest mid morning and is quite happy there for an hour or so but obviously I can't keep doing this. HV said to put in her cot when she's asleep in dark room etc and we've tried this last two days but as soon as I tip her back onto her back in her cot, she stirs and wakes and then cries.
I've left her to cry today in the hope she'll self settle but she was crying for 20min (I went in every 5min) before I gave in and picked her up.
Have you any tips? Up until now I've just got on with my day.. Shopping, baby classes etc in the hope she'll nap on the go but over last week she's got really fussy and keeps crying everytime we go anywhere which is getting me down... Should I be staying home certain times of day to try and get her to nap? Or keep going with the flow?0 -
She's 9 weeks Jen, I wouldn't worry, if she wants to sleep on you and is sleeping fine at night, I'd go with it. My LO never wants to snuggle or cuddle in now and I wish I'd took advantage of it more when he did
It'l sort itself out. She loves you and wants to be close to you, that's all normalxx

Jen - Have to agree with Gilly about taking advantage of the cuddles
Noah slept through the night at 3 weeks and never really slept much in the day, he would usually just nap on me like your little one. As Noah has got older he has got a lot better and will sleep in his cot in the day now but he will also power nap on me somedays still.
Have you tried a mobile or projector when you put baby down? That helps Noah.

Thanks ladies... It would be nice to get her in her cot for a nap but I feel a tired grizzly baby isn't worth it at moment, id rather she had an hours nap on me and wake happy. I'll keep persevering though maybe giving her 30min on me before putting her in cot and try build it up that way.
Weve got the fisher price rainforest mobile which she'll watch for 2-3min before she cries lol!0
