Reuben has gone to bed at 8:15....im going to take him swimming every day if that is the result, lol!
We have roofers coming out tomorrow to fix our roof leak, FINALLY, I've only been reporting it to the landlord for about 5 months.
I'm jealous of all you lot with weaning babies, I'm really looking forward to it, sounds like such good fun and all the pics ive seen have been great. but then I don't want to wish the time away, I love my little boy and feel like at 3 months he is already so different from the little baby i had - he's not allowed to grow any more0 -
We've had proper laughs, clicking tounges, holding his feet and playing with his willy this week! Not too sure about the last one but loving the other stuff!!
LOL! Freddie found his willy the other day. I was changing his nappy and he grabbed it. Would he let go? Nope. As per usual he was pumping all four limbs and squealing. His arm was flailing about so much I thought he was going to yank it right off. Pervert."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Losing [patience. Rose has a really bad dribble rash- it's weepy, and bleeding occasionally. I've tired everything- Sudocrem, not using baby wipes, just water and tissue, dribble bibs, double bibs, making sure it's as dry as I can possibly get it without irritating it. I'ev tried E45, Oilatum, and johnsons moisturising.I think it would clear if I could get her to stop itching at it- but even with scratch mitts on she can still draw blood, and it is annoying her terribly. I was advised hydrocortizone by some of you lovely ladies, and had some in the house- just a sample thingy. She hasn't itched all day, and the redness is beginning to die down.
Phoned the surgery and requested hydrocortizone- Dh has just collected, and the script is for Sudocrem- apparantly the receptionist told him they are not allowed to hand out anything else for babies other than Sudocrem.
Looks like a phone call in the morning is in order....
You can buy 1% hydrocortisone over the counter. No doubt it's not advised for babies, and I'm not telling you to go against your GP's advice but... there you go. A quick trip to Boots and no one's the wiser"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

Just wait until he is 9....
DD1 was on the bus with me and got spun round when the bus stopped. Cue:

Gilly, did you manage to resist the pizza? I really must get a life - I got waaay too excited when I realised I had enough calories left in my daily allowance to have some parmesan on my pasta!...0

You could explain discretion to him but I'm not sure how much he'd take in :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Haha love it fluff :rotfl:
Hope he sleeps well after his swimming turtle, I bet he's worn out! George is - little monkey would not nap all afternoon today and started throwing a strop in the cake shop. Luckily we'd just finished our cream teas so could make a fast exit.
I'm tempted to wake him up to feed him when I got to bed in the hope of breaking this midnight waking we've got going on. Going to see if he stirs when I get ready for bed, if he does I'll get him up but if he's spark out I'll leave him and hope for the best.Newborn thread member

We've had willy touching by baby. Only when he's in his bath though and only after I've cleaned it, he gives it a good yank too!
I don't know NutellaI'm just trying my very best xx

Hello all
Been busy on the thread! Feel like I've only just sat down, did tea, bottles etc and then tackled the ironing and I am pooped!!
Swimming sounds so fun, hope all the LO's sleep after thier busy days
Lirin, hope Rose's dribble rash can get sorted. Maybe use Fluffs tip until you can talk some sense into those doctors?!
Turtle, I was tooooo excited about weaning lol. I still love getting his little meals ready nowI know what you mean about him growing. My mum was in Next the other day and she picked up a coat in 12-18mnths which looked massive and I said "no he won't need that because he isn't going to grow any older"
Gilly, glad you are pleased with you hair. Have you gone for a big change? I did last time and I felt great afterwards, sometimes its just what you need I think.
Littlemiss moneysaver, glad your first day went well. Sounds like you are doing great
Katie, hope George sleeps for you. I did try the dream feed thing with Aiden once or twice - unfortunately it didn't work for us but I know some people swear by it so fingers crossed for you.
Sammie, sorry can't help re ipad as we don't have one
Well...think I am caught up. Nothing on tv tonight!
