    Hi ladies :)

No willy has been found yet here - I'm almost jealous! :p

Does anyone else struggle regarding how to dress little one at night? Although the room temp says 'too hot' e.g. 23C, it is getting distinctly chilly at night and first thing. Joseph wears a baby gro and has one blanket, he seems fine with this but I worry whether he is too hot...or too cold! I have a thing about fresh air and always need a window open at night even if it just on the latch. I was thinking the other day about how it will soon be time to put heating back on...but have just this second heard on the radio we are forecast a bit of a mini heatwave this weekend! :D

Off to the woods this morning with Joseph and the doggie, hoping Joseph will enjoy being in his baby carrier...and that my back doesn't get broken in the process! As he is now 12 weeks (on Saturday) I may try him facing forwards :)

    Txxx

Hi Hun, they dont recommend facing baby outwards in carriers it's bad for there little hips. I only discovered this after I'd bought a carrier so now I have one I can't use and he's too big for his sling :( I'm on the iPad so can't post links but il find them later

R.e the nighttime clothing thing iv always put him in a vest and sleep suit and when he was really little a swaddle blanket and then a sleeping bag when he was older, making me think now, although I like in n.i no difference between summer and winter here :rotfl: xx

  • Congrats to kitten and LMM! Another vote here for some new-baby pics please :D

Well i am in the !!!!!!, had a text off the childminder I'm using next week to say her husband has gone in to hospital - now I have to try and find someone really last minute, argh! And I need to express as I only have 15 oz in the freezer...I know I'll be expressing on the days off the tribunal but I'm worrying stress will reduce my pumping output so would rather have extra just in case. But Reu is very clingy and grumbly today, won't nap, so I managed to chuck the pump bits in the steriliser but that's all, need to actually use the bloomin thing!!

After reading your posts I wonder if I'm over dressing Reuben for bed, he has vest and sleep suit, and either a 2.5 or 1.2 tog sleeping bag. He always seems fine to touch though, in fact sometimes his little hands are freezing and I put mitts on him in the middle of the night. Hmm.

  • Hope you can find someone turtle, as if you don't have enough to worry about all ready!

What a cutie jen77! Beautiful name too

I wouldn't worry too much about over dressing for bedtime turtle - they're all different, I think if he was too hot he'd let you know! George is always pretty hot, I took him to the shops in just a vest the other day as he complained in anything warmer. A lady (total stranger) told me I should have him wrapped up warmly if I take him out anywhere. Um thanks, think I'll stick with what I know works for my baby!

I hate the do gooders that think they know everything or look down on people.
