Noah has slept most of the day!! I managed to cut the front lawn, hang out washing, have lunch and catch up on neighbours :D I had to wake him at 2.15 for lunch as we have to leave at 3pm to pick the boys up and I know he would want feeding before. He is now fed, changed and playing in his playmat!!
    My boy is so lazy!!

We get people making comments a lot here, since this is a town people retire to... And we're on four buses a day!

I just smile and nod unless its something that's really got on my nerves.

School went back today I'm so glad, but I've still got a banging headache :(

OH is away atm and I'm finding it a bit hard doing it on my own, I'm not used to it anymore!

Ro - how long is mil staying for?

We walked to school and back :j really pleased with myself as it was tempting to wait for a bus everytime I passed a bus stop!!

The boys got an ice cream from the ice cream van on the way home so they were happy.

Turtle how rubbish, not like you need extra stress. Hope you get something sorted.
Fluff hope Freddie behaved himself, your description did make me laugh though.

How are people uploading pics from the phone/iPad? Before I've used tinypic to upload but doesn't seem to work.
Health visitor came today for the first time. Zachary has put on 20g since yday. So now is 5lb 11and 1/2oz. Will get him weighed again on Monday at the clinic. But the HV was very nice :)

On my iPad I use Flickr and then press share and it gives you a code which you copy and paste and it puts the pic in your message.

We have second jabs tomorrow, I am dreading it, I'm such a wimp. I managed not to cry last time but he is so much more aware of his surroundings now that I don't think I'll be able to bear it. I hate that they make you sit in the waiting room for ten mins afterwards....it's one of the very few times he wants to comfort suck and I'll happily let him as I feel sooo guilty, but don't want to get my baps out in the waiting room!

    Evening all...

Rose and I had a long session in the swimming pool today, with another mum I know. Her boy is four months younger than Rose- and they are both virtually the same weight! Neither baby looks chunky or underfed though, and they're both very long babies.

She played for a bit, thinks dunking is fun when I join in too, and loved being tossed up into the air a bit- she was only a few cms from my hand, but from the sound of it she was thrilled!

The other baby fell asleep getting changed afterwards- Rose was still in hyper mode all the way through dinner afterwards at a cafe. She zonked out good at home- I could have blown the house up and she wouldn't have shifted!

Jen, she's so sweet looking. :) Congrats!

Turtle, just find a corner? Would that work?

Lirin, swimming sounds like it was great!

The chairs are not fixed so I may just grab one and face the corner.

Pre-baby I used to scoff at parents who got bothered by stuff like this, and even in the run up to his first set I wasn't too bad, then he screamed and it was the same scream from when we were in hospital after the birth so wham I was straight back in time, horrific.

I've had an offer of a settlement from my employer....I'm claiming an equal pay part and maternity pay part. If I win the equal pay it's enough to pay off all my debt (16k) and have enough left over for a sizeable house deposit. If I win the maternity pay part, that only pays my solicitor's bill ...so you can see its the equal pay bit that's most important. However, if I win the maternity pay part, it actually opens them up to claims from lots of other people (around 70) who could claim money and contractual terms they would be entitled to, I would be setting the precedent.

So anyway, it's risky for them, that part, so they have offered to pay me some maternity pay on the agreement that I drop that at the tribunal next week. they've offered to pay me £2000 ...which is half what I should be entitled to!!!! Do they really think I would accept that? It's hilarious...but also a ittle scary. They've sent me a really nasty threatening letter, but as its "without prejudice" I basically can't tell on them to the tribunal and my sol says don't worry just ignore it, it's part of the game....still scary though!!!!
