    Morning ladybugs.

Lazy lump same as always didn't get up until 9.15. I love that I can get up though have a shower and a cuppa while man thing and baby are still sleeping, it's my only sense of peace in a world of chaos.

He seems to be getting hungrier and hungrier, 3 meals yesterday all 2 courses and one 3 courser and I still think he'd have eaten more!! Eating mr out of house and home already.

Lots to do today, washing to do and I want to wash the cushion covers from the sofas. Tidying to be done but with baby 'helping' can't see me getting very far :D xxx

Hi Hun, they dont recommend facing baby outwards in carriers it's bad for there little hips. I only discovered this after I'd bought a carrier so now I have one I can't use and he's too big for his sling :( I'm on the iPad so can't post links but il find them later

Oh no :( Joseph absolutely loved it to and it was so nice in the woods, happy baby and doggie. How do others get round this? I can't use the pram there as its too bumpy, the carrier really was ideal :(

Oh, I don't dare leave him without a nappy on - he's too unpredictable! Nope, with nappy. He does such tremendous shits, they tend to leak around the legs. I've tried every brand going :(

  • I changed Niall n my nans bed yesterday, was so worried about him pooing on it as sometimes his are explosions!

Have tried to give him nappy free time to ease nappy rash but it's difficult due to weeing and pooing.

Another few smiles from niall today:T

Only realised yesterday after advice from my sis and mum how much Niall is suffering with wind, did some belly baby massage this morning and will do some tonight and hope it helps.

Trip to doctors this morning for nialls last dose of vit k.

Freddie and I were sleeping in the spare room the other night to try to give ill husband a decent night's sleep. I'd just fed him and he was all sleepy when I realised he probably needed a nappy change. He was so dopey I left him where he was and changed him on the bed. He weed everywhere - all over me, all over himself and all over the bed. Little sod but then mummy's never going to do that again!

Freddie's nappy rash is completely gone now that I've been using wipes instead of cotton wool/water.

It all depends on brand and make of carrier. They don't recommend facing outwards at all. I know the connecta solar weave, mei tei and the ergo are supposed to be good carriers. Baby's legs shouldn't be 'dangling' if that makes sense but sort of squatted up around you. The link below explains it a lot better than I can haha. It also gives examples near the bottom of recommended carriers and the type to avoid. I know baby bjorn are particularly bad.

Hope that helps a little, as I say I only found this out after I had bought one too so it's barely been used :(

I just leave him facing me, as it's quite a stretchy carrier he can lean back and look around now he's bigger. Saying that, at around 18lb he's getting quite a weight to carry!
