hey ladies
sounds exciting taking LOs for their first swims, my DH wanted to take niall to our local calma baby centre - we have a few swim nappies, not sure what else would be needed in terms of floats or anything? i do have a blow up ring that my sister gave me but think he needs to be able to sit to use this. he is only 3 and a half weeks.
i think i got first smile today, it was different from the windy smile, he smiled with his eyes as well, it was so lovely. i googled it just incase i was going mad can babies really smile at 3 and a half weeks and apparently they can
gilly - ipads are great, my dad has given me loan of his at the moment, it keeps me entertained when breastfeeding. we are thinking of buying an ipad at christmas rather than presents for each other.
nial currently asleep so getting on with lots.
got annoyed at DH last night, was difficult trying to get Niall to sleep, was working at it for a few hours and DH just slept. i was loosing my rag and put niall down to cry for a bit, layed down and though DH would awake with the crying but he didnt grrrr i cant stand to hear a baby cry, it made me cry. anyway after tonnes of feeds he settled.
breastfeeding ladies, do you find your LO cluster feeds? i have noticed Niall wants nothing but boob some evenings.
a long post from me today as at the normal computer and not the ipad so can type a lot quicker

Hey everybody!
Wow I really love this forum, a lot of information to find here..
I also enjoy the free to join baby clubs and found the free baby Vouchers!
Thanks!0 -
Jedi, it definitely is possible. At around 14 days the health visitor was here, and said oooh look at that smile. I said oh yes, it'll be wind though won't it, and she was sure it was a real one, as it was a reaction to something I was doing.
We had the Plum yogurts, and I could get him to eat half a one if lucky. Switched to Rachels, which are also sugar free, and he wolfs them down!
Tried him with some stage 2 Plum food today and he seemed to like it.0 -
Supposed to be cleaning lol...
Hello Elnino
Aimless - we found the reverse with the yoghurt rotfl ! Scott's a monkey !0 -
Thank goodness for my iPad, I've been stuck with baby on boob for just over an hour now. He keeps nodding off but is feeding when asleep, then when I try to take him off he wants to go back on. He's lovely but I'm quite bored now, and the washing machine has finished so I could do with getting the clothes out, and wouldn't mind a drink and a snack!!0

I bought sugar free yougurt when pickles was smaller and she hated it!
I wouldn't worry about buying petits filous or supermarket own versions, theres much worse things to be feeding them!
Quite often jar baby food contains more 'junk' ingredients than the dreaded 'not organic or sugar free' yogurts.
As long as its in moderation they can eat pretty much anything!
Sorry rant overMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
