Oh the other thing to keep awake nct said to switch sides to make sure. When they look sleepy switch to the other breast to wake them up. do a nappy change/winding can help.Switching also helps pull in more demand for more milk on both breasts not just one. Switch at least twice so they end back on the 1st to get the hind fatty milk.

The neo-natal unit staff often nappy change sleepy heads mid-feed to wake 'em up and get them to take a bit more... for a few weeks when she came home feeding Erin resembled a drinking game of strip poker as she got less and less clothed throughout a feed.

I tried Noah on broccoli in the week and he seemed to enjoy it:D
He did rub his hands all over his face and it looked like he was covered in bogeys though:naughty:

Dizzi lol at your strip poker baby!!!

Sammie at least it actually was broccoli not bogeys, I know which I'd prefer to clean up!

Feeding again here, he's a hungry boy tonight! He didn't sleep well at all last night...I'm thinking probably the jabs....he has seemed much chirpier today so hopefully it'll be a sleepy night :)

Sunshine - he is doing really well actually, I have put a load of pur!es in the freezer so the blender took a hammering this week :D so far I have done broccoli, carrot, cauliflower and sweet potatoes for dinners and blueberries, mango, apples and pears for pudding.
    How much is Aiden eating?

Turtlemoose - Noah has a cold at the moment so in all honesty some of it could be bogeys and snot!! :p

Well the meals I made were prob about 8 teaspoons, the most he has eaten has been about 4 spoonfulls so I was rather ambitious with my portion sizes I think.

He is enjoying it though :) glad Noah is doing well too. Blueberries aee on my list! x

I think Noah may be a little beast then as he has about 8 baby spoons of each!! Health visitor said it was fine though as he obviously got the hang of it pretty quick and is enjoying it.

Haven't long got back from the BBQ, we all hat marshmallows on the BBQ once it cooled right down.....yummy :D

Hoping to go to a car boot sale tomorrow as I need to stock up on 6-9 month clothes and want to look at toys for him.
