Thought I'd share a recent pic of Poppy in her high-chair for the first time yesterday! As you can see she seems to like it!

Ro, Scott looks super cute! Do you mind me asking where his outfits from? We have a family do soon and I want that!!

Jannine, completely understand your decision re no more babies. Poppy is gorgeous she has lovely eyes. Def let us see her bedroom when its all done :) sorry shes been poorly hun. Glad she is ok now x

Well Aiden tried apple tonight and he seemed to really like it. He still didnt take much - prob 5 spoons. Books say we should increase the amount after week 1 but oh well!! Pureed some raspberries and managed to fit in freezer earlier - did sieve but still quite seedy so may have to re sieve when he has them! xx

Me and OH have made the difficult decision to not have any more children, after the many problems when pregnant which could occur again and the possibility of having another prem baby I just don't want to risk that happening. If we had such an early baby again, Poppy would suffer if we had to spend another 13 weeks in hospital and I need to put her first. Was difficult decision to make, but I've found peace with it now and I'm so happy with my little girl. Plus I felt so rubbish through-out my pregnancy (albeit very short pregnancy!) and still have trouble with my scar so in a way its nice to know my body doesn't have to go through that again!

Yeah, I'll admit another preemie is my worst fear (actually at the moment it's twins - they run in my family, I've lost a pair already and those lines are AWFULLY dark) - hence us telling parents very very early so they've got a heads-up that they may be called upon at very short notice to get their butts down here (hopefully we can have at least one set of grandparents down here in 3-4 hours if we need them) and help out with Erin - and there's no way the hospital are keeping me in 24/7 again just to allow them to cut the nursing numbers for transitional care babies (for that's 95% at least of why they kept me in there - I'm under no illusions) - if it happens, I WILL be going home for at least a period each day while other relatives sit in the hospital so that Erin has a mum as well - and there's no way I'm going back to the hospital in question - the second I get my mat notes I'm writing "please do not send me to X unless completely unavoidable - previous very traumatic experience" on the front of it in very large red letters.

I'm terrified - and I've done a lot of crying (thankfully I've got another couple of sessions of counselling lined up anyway that was getting me over the whole birth trainwreck), but at least we've got the ability to forward plan a bit. Sad that everything we're looking at in terms of planning is "what happens if he/she arrives early" - but think that's always going to be the case.

I had a scare a few months ago and was terrified so I can relate to how you felt. We saw the Doctor last week and have started to think about a more permanent method of contraception, I don't want any accidents! Knowing my luck I would fall accidently pregnant with twins, my OH is an identical twin! Hence the need for a more reliable method of birth control!

My Mum called me selfish for not wanting anymore, I'm one of five so she can't understand why I want to stop at one child! I've explained my reasons and she said 'you've got through it before and if it happened again you would manage.' But our decision is made and it only concerns me and my OH which I told my Mum in no uncertain terms!

Me and my hubby have talked about the advantages of only having one child and we are happy with the decision.

Good luck with your pregnancy, hoping everything runs smoothly, you never know you might be on the pregnancy thread fed up and 10 days overdue! :D

I'm sky+ in Caspie so I can fast forward the rubbish bits, will start watching it soon!

Just had a thought when I was in the bath, for ladies who have had a c-section, what do you do about waxing down below! Strange question I know, but I liked to have a wax before Poppy and my scar is really sore so waxing seems to be out of the question for quite some time!

Not sure about waxing around, might look a little odd!! :rotfl: My scar and the area around is very tender still, I think it will be a good few years until I can wax again, my friend had a section and still suffers 8 years later with pain!

Anybody know where you can buy reasonably priced cot bed sheets from? I was looking in babies r us yesterday and I thought they were quite expensive, around £20.00 for 2!

Will be sad to have her in her cot soon and in her own room, but will be nice to not have to whisper and move around quietly! Me and OH were having so 'adult time' on Friday night and Poppy woke up at 1.00am and was all smiles for the next hour, blowing raspberries and chattering away, that soon put a dampener on the romance!! :rotfl:
