No way is it easy, I was desperate to avoid a section as I had a feeling I'd end up like this. I still can't believe 6 months later i'm still sore xxx

Yeah it will be nice not to have to cough quietly, I had to sneeze into my pillow this morning as I wanted an extra 30 minutes in bed before Poppy woke up!

Think my OH will be pleased as well, bless him, he's been working on the room after work for weeks now! He won't let me do any of the work, said I've done my part having her and who I'm I to argue with that!! :D

Do you find yourself peeping into Aidens room lots during the night to check him? Think I'll be doing it loads at first until I get use to not having her next to me!

Yeah I still do it now! We bought video monitors though which I am really pleased with as sometimes he makes noises but is still asleep so it saves me getting up and checking. Bless your OH, mine was so proud of the room and a bit gutted that I didnt really want him in there!

It is nice to havr our room back though. x

My dp decorated the nursery too and was gutted I didn't want to put Noah straight in there! Now he is in his own room I check in him every night before I go to bed, he looks do angelic sleeping  we have the angel care movement and sound monitor so I can see his heartbeat ticker when I wake up to put my mind at rest. My friend has got the summer video monitor and it looks amazing!!

I still have baby in with us, not in a rush to move him either :o I think I'll probably keep in with us until a year or so. If we move house before then, then I may do it, but if not then I'll keep him where he is. He's a good sleeper though, I'd probably think different if he wasn't.

  • Right, have v+d the end for tomoz :)

Just peeked at my boy :) hes 5 mnths today. I used to sit in his room and wonder what he/she would look like etc and how baby would look in all the little clothes and in the pram, and now he is here and 5 months old. Its crazy!

Might carry on reading the 50shades book. Borrowed it off a friend but have hardly started it really. Anyone else read it? xx

Jannine, we have a cot rather than cot bed, but I got some nice soft sheets in John Lewis. They do a value range, the cot ones were 3 for £15, I assume they'd have cot bed ones too?

I originally got some from Boots, but decided they weren't soft enough. Didn't want to take them back as I had a sea of extra points on the order I didn't want to mess up! :D There's still a sealed pack kicking round somewhere. Went to Toys R Us and felt theirs, still not soft enough :D and randomly wandered into JL.

Just put my boy to bed for the second time tonight. He slept through the last hour of the Olympic ceremony, then woke up when my damn phone beeped! He was up half of last night too, so looks tired... and I'm knackered. :D Can't decide if it is teeth or poorly, as he's even more off his food than normal.

Lol, just thinking, am I the only one with a cot rather than a cot bed? :D Couldn't fit a cot bed in here, we're going to struggle as it is when my new bed arrives, it's a few inches wider than the current one! Though the sides do come off the cot to make a bed, just a small one, or you can take one side off and make it into a little sofa. :)

Oh god its 2.30am and i haven't been asleep yet! You would probably assume my baby was keeping me awake but no! I'm surrounded by a snoring man and 3 snoring boxer dogs, i've had to move downstairs on the sofa and i can still hear the!! Arghh i'm going to be suffering tomorrow!!
