MrsBryan, good to hear from you, was wondering how you were getting on! I'm afraid I can't recommend a mobile as I've already said on here that the one we have is what I'm testing for the M&B awards (and we're not allowed to discuss brands), but I do have some unsolicited advice re. bedroom lighting. We bought a dimmer switch with remote control for about £25 from Homebase, and it's wonderful. The remote allows you to switch the ceiling light on and off without getting out of bed, and the dimmer function means you can just switch on the absolute minimum of light that you need to change a nappy/do a feed/find the dummy. In the early days, when we were awake all the time and also wanted to check on LO regularly, we kept the light on very low all night. Anyway, I know this wasn't what you were asking about...0

Thanks for your comments everyone.
Katie does George do more than one consecutive 4-5hr session? Reuben seems to be building up to that but only one a night, he then goes to shorter times.
Mrsbryan good question re mobile...I don't have an answer as have been wondering the same myself
Nutella sorry didn't mean to suggest that FF babies all sleep through!!what I meant was, his older son slept (apparently) AND he was FF so in OH's mind they are linked. What I think is more likely is they either left him to cry or didn't wake up when he cried....probably the not-waking if now is anything to go by!!
I'm not sure about developmentally.....different websites say different things so I never know which one to go by. Eg he holds his head up really well when upright or on his tummy, better than the majority of sites say he should be able to....but then I got an email from Huggies today saying if I hold his hands and pull him to sitting from laying down, then he should hold his head steady....but he lets it flop back....so is he ahead, behind or just right?! Impossible to tell :rotfl:0 -
Oh and parcel arrived but R's not interested as he's grouchy from jabs0

Hello
Its soo nice and sunny today :j
We've been in the garden in his tent this afternoon, it was lovely.
We aren't too hungry tonight, something about the warm weather makes me have less of an appetite. So think we are just having sausage sandwiches for tea.
I know what you mean turtlemoose about the websites all saying different things. Its so confusing. Glad your parcel came, but boo that he is sad after jabs
Will try to catch up later xxxxxLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

If all FF babies slept through I'm not sure anyone would be breastfeeding! :rotfl:I know what you mean about the different websites - we like the Baby Centre milestone chart as LO often has the 'advanced skills' on there!
PS: Huggies clearly can't be trusted - don't forget they also claim that 'what happens in Huggies stays in Huggies'... Well, it doesn't.0 -
Nutella - :rotfl: true about the huggies!!
Sunshine - sounds like you had fun this afternoon
Sausage sandwiches sound lovely too!!
Had fun at the country park again today, boys took part in a treasure hunt so they had fun. Just waiting for dinner to cook we are going to sit in the garden and eat it tonight
Such sad news about Tia, I can't understand why anyone would do that to another human being let alone an innocent child

We seem to spend all our time keeping our kids safe from the evil "outside world" but you find it's common now for family members/friends to be involved.so scary.
