Loads of baby testers on here! Turtlemoose, I wondered if you were on the skincare, as I saw an email address in one of the messages that had to be yours!
. So many things I'd love to recommend to people but can't name yet!
Fluffnutter, I had the same experience with Infacol, I tried it as he seemed quite windy, but it gave him full blown colicky symptoms.
My eldest had terrible colic, or something else! As it started on my first night home from hospital, and went on for months. He just screamed and screamed and I couldn't put him down. Lots of driving round the block, and wearing him in a carrier to do anything.
Kira, we can even provide pics of breastfed poo, can't we
It can be hard though when so many people seem to bottlefeed. Whenever I find someone who understands, and gives me a quiet corner and a big glass of water while I feed, I'm so grateful! 0 -

My step mum really is the only person to say dumb things like, are you going to stop and give her formula now she is months... umm. no? Or when i said, i have to go now as shes grizzly cos shes due a feed, she said, Oh, i dont mind her being grizzly, no need to go. huh! Well i mind!!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

I'm lucky too that my mum breastfed, and so I grew up seeing it as normal. My other half's mum didn't though and asked lots of questions that annoyed me at first. And my Nan very kindly decided to ask yesterday if I'd 'dried up yet'!0

My trouble is I have no family here, and my mum, while supportive, lives in France...which isn't much good when sometimes you just want a hug

I dont have any friends here either (oh poor me lol!!), so I do really need to get sorted and go to some mum and baby groups.
OH mum did 2 x breastfed, 12 or so year gap, 2 x formula fed. So she knows what it's like....but when pregnant she spent ages telling me how terrible breastfeeding is and which one she preferred. Mind you, this is the same woman who, at 6 weeks pregnant, told me to "get rid of it while it's still so early, and get away from OH while i still can, as he's just like his dad and don't make the same mistake she did" .....OH doesn't know she said that, but I will never forget (or forgive)....and it really f*cking grates when she is all lovey dovey over R...it's on the tip of my tongue to ask her " oh so are you glad I didn't kill him now?" .....but anyway, so I don't really have any time for her advice or comments, but she can't help but have a dig!
Ooh aimless skincare is fun isn't it
I've had all baby stuff so far, but today I received two products that are for meeee hooray :j they are both for stretchmarks, so I'm using one on one hip, one in the other and bio oil on the belly....see which one works best (if at all!) 0 -
*HUGS* My mum is 3.5hrs away, so i know exactly how you feel. She is willing to support, but just not able..turtlemoose wrote: »My trouble is I have no family here, and my mum, while supportive, lives in France...which isn't much good when sometimes you just want a hug

Sammie and sunshine I actually don't remember :-/ I signed up to loads of stuff when pregnant and can only assume that's where it came from. Then one day I had an emails saying send me your BFing story and you might get chosen...so I did, and I got picked! And then I think maybe people pulled out or there were extra products as the same person emailed saying she was looking out for extra testers for skincare, so I applied for that too.
The lady who organised it is called Jessica Milln, google her blog and you could try next year
well assuming she does it next year I suppose! 0 -
Kira I'm in Wolverhampton (but I'm not a yam yam, I promise!). Originally from Norwich so technically I'm a country bumpkin
