Thanks for the advice, boobs are a little bit full today and a bit painful so might express a bit later. Actually looking forward to having normal boobs again! Although they have changed shape and, dare I say it, gone a little bit saggy
Gilly I hope that old wives tale is true! (not for you though turtle!!) I suffered with period pains quite bad before so it would be lovely to have easy ones now! I think thats why I coped quite well in labour as was used to severe period pains
Triangle, I keep thinking Teddy is trying to smile, they seem different to his 'wind' smiles......although not too sure, I did the same and googled it! XAttitude is a little thing that makes a big difference0 -
Just a quickie had visitors today :0
Triangle - do not worry about the smiling he will do it when he's ready and probably when your not looking !!!
Turtlemoose- my first 'visit' was extremely heavy (much heavier than normal note to others expecting you might as well hang on to spare maternity pads), they are still heavy now. I have always had heavy periods but I have pcos and am currently anaemic... I used night pads.0 -

Mine is 16 weeks on Wednesday and we've already had about four days of him absolutely positively refusing to go to sleep. He's currently asleep on my bed as thats the only place I can get him to drop off.
Can anyone with experience tell me if its something that will go away on its own or do I have to reteach him to drop off on his own? He was so good at it before, quite happy most of the time to just lay in his cot until he dropped off I didnt even need to use a mobile or music. Now I get punched and kicked, he screams until he's hoarse and it not until he's literally exhausted that he finally agrees to lay with me in a dark room quietly enough to finally drop off.:A:A:A:A:A:A0 -
I've been hunting for a high chair tonight, any recommendations?
I have had an IKEA high chair recommended to me by a couple of people. Quite upright and basic, but really useable. Very mse too at only £15. I am some way off needing one as my LO is only 6 weeks, but am definitely going to get one.

Well I feel like a complete zombie today, George was up twice in the night but has been rustling and stamping and gurgling in his crib like a monster so not had a good night really. Having a cup of tea and biscuits to try and wake up now.
Water babies sounds fun Triangle, I'm dying to take George swimming, need to call up the leisure centre and see what classes they have but also want to get him to enjoy his baths a bit more first.
Hope everyone has a lovely day - Mozzy are you back at work today? Hope it's not too bad for you.Newborn thread member

Hello all
Well we are sat in the docs atm.
Sat night was great, he slept 8-6 then a feed and 730-845, his best ever. But last night was awful he was so snuffly and chesty, sneezing every hour or so and would not settle. He wouldnt even sleep on me which is normally a last resort which always works. He just wanted to sleep sat up so at 3am, as he hadnt slept longer than an hour we put him in his carseat. He had a 3hour stretch of sleep and woke up full of snot and a sticky eye. Hes asleep in the docs atm. Im guessing they will say its just a cold etc but I couldnt not bring him.
Katie sorry you had a bad night too, hope you can catch up on sleep today?
Mozzy hope your first day back is ok.
AF-mine have been horrific since having him and I never used to have a problem before. Ive gone back on the pill to see if it helps.
Have a good day all. Docs is packed so think we will be here a while - its open surgery.
