Mozzy I'm impressed, I'd be afraid to let my OH anywhere near my hair with any cutting implements!!0

Hey Ladies,
I'm up late tonight, had a lovely takeaway and feel stuffed!
I wouldn't let OH near my hair, you're very brave Mozzyc!
Awww Ro Scott looks adorable, so cute!!
I've been hunting for a high chair tonight, any recommendations? Poppy is really trying to sit up so it can't be that long until we need one!
I'm amazed how clever my little girl is and how she has me and her Daddy twisted around her little finger! Her latest trick at night is to pull her dummy out with her hand and start screaming so Mummy or Daddy go up and put it back in, its turned into a game for her! This happened 12 times tonight!!
Katie, I got a good selection of toys from Poundland if you have one near you, I got 8 plastic toys in a net bag for a quid and Poppy loves watching them float!
Good night all, hope you all manage some undisturbed sleep.

Morning ladies, can we have a little tmi conversation about periods post baby?? Are yours lighter/heavier/the same? Different in any other way?
I broke out in a load of spots (not happened like that since early teens) stomach has been bloated (looked about 6months preg again!), and then came on, my belly feels all heavy and achy (guessing this is "period pain"? Never had it before), and I'm bleeding so heavily that I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to sit through the dark knight later without needing a loo break. Pre baby I had none of that and my periods lasted no more than 3 days, one of which I wouldn't need to use anything it was that light. Is this normal to be so different?? The doc did put me on a contraceptive pill - could this be the cause? I feel like a spotty moody teenager, and all the extra laundry isn't helping my mood!0 -
Everyone is different turtlemoose, the old wives tales I've heard is if you had bad periods before, then they get better, if you had good ones before, they get worse. Mine got better for 2 and then the ones after that have been bad again
Just keep an eye on it. Enjoy Batman, it is amazingggg! The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Hi ladies
I'm very excited as Joseph is now booked on to a Waterbabies course, due to start in September when is 12 weeks oldIt is something I was really keen to do so I'm very happy although it is very expensive and we may only do one 'term', depending on how much we enjoy it and finances nearer the time. Has anyone else done it?
Also a quick question and perhaps a little bit of reassrrance - Joseph is 6 weeks now and hasn't yet had a smile. He often has the beginnings of one and also smiles a lot in his sleep when he is a bit windybut not yet at us. Having a done a quick google and it seems that its perfectly normal...but I was really hoping for one at 6 weeks! Anyone else had this?

Triangle - it varies. Erin was about 10 weeks before she started smiling properly (granted you can knock 6-7 weeks off that to adjust for prematurity so in those terms she was "advanced") - she did like a week of sleep-smiles almost practicing and then suddenly started letting rip with them (which made me blub like a loon). Giggles came a week or two after that - but I got really hung up and upset waiting for those first ones to come.
Now she seems to think that smiling = I'll get out of being put down to go to sleep and that it wraps daddy around her little finger.
16 weeks tomorrow... 4 month sleep regression arrived with a vengeance this week.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0
