Freddie's so grizzly in this heat, bless him. Constantly wants the boob and keeps going bright red. Although, to be fair, that might be the effort of his continual shitting.

As I mentioned - the hospital pratted me around about pain relief... meaning I did 8cm dliated on two paracetamol (claims well-hard points here)... at one point the lovely midwife (before my life got taken over by the complete cow brigade) breezed in and chirpily said "oh look I've just seen the aromatherapy trained midwife and I thought you'd really really enjoy that - do you want some aromatherapy?"

My reply to this was not typeable here but included several obscenities and (yet another) request for some decent drugs!

Had an emergency rush to the docs this morning - she's had a persistent cough and the doc yesterday listened to her chest and said it was ok - but this morning she's woken up wheezy and with a worse cough so got her back in there... poor thing, 15 weeks old and has a blooming inhaler already - I feel awful for her (but there's asthma in both family histories so the strong suspicion is that).

I started my diet two days ago :-D really hoping I can stick to something this time as I have a few nice clothes in my wardrobe that I really want to fit into again.

Yay - a diet buddy! :j I'm really tired of my entire wardrobe, so I'm planning to go shopping once I've lost some weight - haven't bought clothes in ages. Good luck, and let me know how you get on :)

Rose learnt to crawl yestarday. Did a few steps, settled back, decided it was too much work, and recommenced rolling everywhere.

Until bedtime. I had 45 mins sleep roughly- she was doing laps of her cot!

:T and :rotfl:Well done Rose! I don't blame her - surely rolling is a lot more fun than crawling...?

hi ladies hope you don't mind me posting as my baby is over 1 now :) Just thought I would share a link to an interesting gift my sister gave us a while ago http://www.amazon.co.uk/Baby-walker-harness-ideal-learning/dp/B0045FJ5G6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1343304455&sr=8-3 It may not be for everybody but we have found it brilliant for that awkward in between stage where baby is by no means ready to be walking safely in public but doesn't want to be in their pushchair either.

Well the in-laws have taken George for a walk so I can get on with some work, feels very strange being at home completely on my own! Hope he's good and doesn't get too hot. Would it look a bit obsessive if I go and meet them in town when I finish my work? Don't want them to think I'm checking up on them...

So I'm clearly no good with this whole separation anxiety - I want him back now please! I've finished work, washed up, taken the bins out, hoovered (for the first time in about 3 weeks) and now it's all I can do to not hang out of the back window watching for them to come up the lane. Should be glad we've got family that want to help out but this is quite long enough now thankyouplease!
