Ha it's me with the iPad, I love it! Really don't know what I'd do without it now.
Lirin- 60 hours a week???? Crikey, and a baby? You must be supermum!
We've just done bath time, he hates it with an absolute passion really screams the place down every time. Makes me nervous of taking him to the pool as it would be a nightmare if he's the same there. Any ideas on how to make it less stressful for him?
Does he get bathed in the big bath or baby bath?
Hubby baths with Charlie every night in the main bath, and he loves it. I guess just making sure the room is warm, lowering slowly into the water, adding some toys etc.DFD February 2012

Hello lovely ladies!
I thought it would be about time to join as my little boy Teddy is nearly 4weeks old! I have been reading the thread and taking in all your tips and advice and have finally found the time to post
I tend to come on here on the iPod during the night feeds to keep me awake but now Teddy is settling down a little bit I should be able to post during the day too, but apologies if I go AWOL for a few days!! Its all still new to me!
No-one said how hard the lack of sleep would be......I feel like a Zombie at the moment!

Welcome MrsBryan!
Thanks for the bath tips, to be honest we probably don't help matters - since he gets so hysterical we tend to end up rushing it so we wcan get him dry and calmed down. And I'm ashamed to admit he's dunked in a washing up bowl (clean, bought to be used for him, not the one I do the washing up in!) which was meant to be just for the first few weeks...he's 11 weeks on Saturday  that'll be me heading to the shops for a proper one and some toys tomorrow then.
anyway, for the third night running he's woken up at this time fora feed which is new for him as he always slept through from bedtime til 2am, so I'm wondering if it could be the 3month growth spurt come a bit early? Or (more likely I guess) he's just being a greedy monkey!
Hope everyone gets at least a couple of hours uninterrupted tonight!Newborn thread member

If anyone's on, I don't know if I'm being overly paranoid, but this is a slight worry....
I've healed up since the op in June, but still doesn't feel right. I feel bruised, which I guess is normal. I did for a few weeks after the birth! I don't feel the urge to pee. Ever. My stomach feels heavy, but I feel nothing down there! That's alriht, can live with. The biggest thing- if I'm sitting, I feel like I'm going to fall out. Not the nicest sensation!
Is all that normal? I will mention it to the consultant when I see him again, it's getting annoying dealing with it 7 months on!
(Rose is 7 months old today! Haven't sold her to the Circus, bargained of to pirates, auctioned on Ebay yet!)0 -
Been using an app on my phone to track BFing and sleeping (not bothering with all the other things you can track), quite depressingly here are today's stats:
Average nap 43min
Total nursing sessions 14
Average time between nursing sessions 1hr 28min
No wonder I am tired!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Lirin - poor you I would definatly Speak to the consultant, I think it's normal to have the feeling everything is going to fall out for a few days/weeks after the birth but definatly not 7 months later. Are you due to see him soon? I would try to see him ASAP or at least a dr. I think someone has a lot of explaining to do for what you have been through.
