Yikes. That is so pricey. Makes my £400 seem rather cheap!

Mozzy, it's crazy isn't it? We're aiming for a childminder, as the cost of nursery would be similar to what you'll be paying. Childminders seem slightly cheaper, plus we quite like the idea of LO having a bit more individual attention whilst she's still so little. That is if we can actually find a childminder - am starting to panic a bit (too many horror stories about waiting lists) and need to start the search!...

Mozzy - omfg ! !! Xx glad u got a lay in!

Sunshine - carseat !!! If you can don't carry it leave it in the car and just carry bubba. I don't carry mine unless I have no choice. They are sooo heavy and ackward !! Re the sleeping do you have to take him upstairs to nap honestly Scott has never been taken upstairs and I don't put him down to fall asleep himself. We use pram downstairs. If I think he's tiring I just have him next to me on the pillow on the sofa, feed and he usually drops off and depending on how he is will transfer to pram or stay on sofa with him. Sometimes I shut curtains turn off tv and put on edd Sheran lol, if he's squeaking one particular song shuts him up tho hubby hates it lol ! Hope you get a better night soon Hun x

Bought some cheap sale clothing for Scott for next summer on mothercare, I know it's early lol but too good to turn down went for 18-24 months so growing room!

Hubby constructed a couple of the 6 drawers he's got to make up
Took him an hour for the first one !!!

Broccoli pur!e & baby rice mix was consumed today ! He ate it really thought he wouldn't lol

Sammie - lol at the moonwalk ..!

Thanks Ro, he only really sleeps on me or in his cot lol, sometimes in the pram but we have to go out first for that to happen.

Yay Nutella, thats progress :) hope it continues.

Thinking of getting my hair done soon, maybe coloured and cut but have no one to have baby really and don't want to leave him! Has anyone been to hairdressers since baby?!x

I've not been to the hairdressers post baby but I've been before when new mums with teeny babies have been in and just parked the pram by them. Not sure I'd dare try that, George can be pretty vocal when he feels hes not getting enough attention!

Don't you just hate it when it rains when you've got washing out? Had to dash out and get it and now I need to hang it up for the second time. Hanging it all up once is bad enough!

Yep...hate doing the mad woman getting washing in dance!!

I wouldn't mind taking him if it was just a cut, but a colour might take some time plus wouldn't the smell or fumes be bad for baby?! argh lol.

I PLANNED to go get my hair all cut off before she came - thought "oh yeah - start of May, get it cut into something easily maintained"... she arrived in April - there went that plan. Secretly though I want her hair colour - she's got the most beautiful mid-brown but with these wonderful auburny-gold streaks through it - it looks so much like she's got copper highlights done!

Oh dizzi it sounds beautiful :)

I am a bit dubious of hairdressers lol, never really found one that has coloured my hair exactly how I want it. x

Sunshine - glad the dr could give you help and advice for your wrist. Fingers crossed it gets better.

Nutella - :rotfl: I know what you mean about baby brain!! I put my dirty washing in the tumble dryer a few weeks ago and wondered why it was still dirty but warm!!

Ro - glad baby enjoyed his food, he sounds like he has taken to it well :D

Mozzy - wow now that's a lie in!! and OMG regarding the child care costs, that's like a second mortgage!!

I'm another that hasn't had time to get my hair cut! I'm picturing us all with really shabby hair full of split ends!! :p
