Sunshine - oh shame hun!! That sounds terribly irratating. Surely he must get that if you've asked before to turn it down, that you can hear it so must keep it down!!!! We had a neighbour like that in our old place, but luckily i was only pregnant then. Is it through a window or coming through a wall? Can you put anything against the wall to block it out. Worse comes to worse, complain to the council - noise pollution.

Speaking of which - there's bloody fireworks going off here!! !!!!!!!!!!

Lirin, haven't seen my GP yet but he's pretty useless tbh and if I blurted out how I feel about it then he'd probably just say "oh dear" and recommend I take it easy for a bit......he's a "new" doc and still has to refer to the other docs sometimes, saw him a few times throughout pregnancy but he's a bit....friendly but useless! Tbh I don't see a value in talking to the doc about it, and my health visitor is wishy washy to say the least! :o

While I know that, it's usually the advised route... My GP is fairly useless as well- when I went back with my problems I was told it was normal and would feel different for a while- it was only a locum 2 weeks later had a look and immediately called a consultant (still took me two months to get to see him though). HV- mine is perfectly nice, and possibly would help, but got the impression she's really just ticking boxes.
If you feel you can, talk to them about it anyway, and ask to be referred on. If you can't, use google- there are plenty of support groups available.

Blimey this thread moves fast! Just read 3 pages and promptly forgot probably most of it so apologies to those I miss:

Dizzi - sounds like you're having an awful time still :( I was lurking on the preg thread when you disappeared and had Erin, had everything crossed it would turn out well for you

Turtle moose - I hope you can find a gp you can talk to, I was diagnosed with mild pnd last week, my gp gave me some websites to look at for support, I'll try and find the list.

Re the jumperoo - have you heard of camelcamelcamel? It's a website that price watches amazon for you, oh had the jumperoo on his list and got an email a few weeks back when it dropped to around £50 so we've got one sat in the bedroom even though it's going to be months before George can use it. If you dont need it right away might be worth just keeping an eye on the price in case they drop it again. Kicking myself for not coming on at the time and posting it. Sorry :(

Anyway, George is about finished his feed so I can get to bed, night all
