Well must go get my own lunch, funny how bubs always gets to eat before me and I still can't lose any weight? :(

I've lost loads - can't face Green and Blacks anymore after my waters broke mid-easter-egg.

NOT a weight loss plan I'd ever recommend though.

    Afternoon all.

Were back from town - bought the following:

    Tommee tippee weaning spoons
    Tommee tippee heat sensitive spoons
Tommee tippee mash and cool bowl
    Comfi roll bib
    Small freezer pots

Plus some cushion covers and a hair dye :)

Tommee tippee weaning stuff was half price in my local tesco btw. OH thinks I am obsessed with buying stuff, we have a whole cupboard now for 'when we wean him'

Gilly - wow! I think your little man has eaten more than me today!! What a little star. Have you found hes put weight on fast since weaning? I'm worried Aiden will do.

OMG at 10 days!!!! I am actually to scared to even try :o:o OH is being very patient lol.

Back later, need to feed the scampy xx

Not really, last time I weighed him about a week ago he was 13 and a half pounds, he's 22 weeks  He is just about crawling though, the army crawl I like to call it and moves constantly so I'm assuming that's why he doesn't put it on. He's about 75th centile for height now and 9th for weight, but he's lanky, always happy, so I'm not worrying too much. I've left out some carrot and potato for him, for when he wakes up, so will see if he takes it :)

Oh bless him. Gosh Aiden weighs about 15.5 pounds and is 16.5 weeks lol :)

Is it like a commando crawl? Aiden has just started to roll and kind of slide around, he gets tired so quickly though I think it really takes it out of him.

I am def going to buy an activity/entertainer thing. Maybe not the jumperoo as they are a bit too pricey and we just had some photos done of Aiden which cost us £120 so I might go for the Bright Starts thing that mozzy has I think. Cant find as good of a bargain as she did though :( Wish I had seen katiechocs £50 jumperoo as prob would have got one for that!

Had a letter through today for his third lot of jabs...boo :( Nurse told me last time it would be 3 injections this time  poor monkey.

    Right, be back later xxx

sometimes it's a commando crawl, sometimes it's a proper crawl and sometimes he just drags himself along the floor. I will try and upload the video :) but not sure how to do it?

Id keep your eyes peeled on ebay/gumtree etc for a jumperoo, they really are worth their weight in gold. x

Ahh cute, try and do the video, would love to see :) Its great seeing everyones bubbas. If you work out how to do it let us know, I'll upload one of Aiden.

I have had an ebay hunt - couldnt find one. I'll try gumtree too. Think we need to get something pretty soon as hes getting bored on the floor or in his bumbo.

hello - this thread has moved way too fast since I last went on.
My little star currently looks like this:

we're having our bathroom done so house isin chaos.

Baby massage- I ahve been to one class at the local surestart centre. they charge a voluntary donation of a pound. We had to sit the last one out as ioan had his third batch of injections on the same day but still learnt a lot and got a hand out. there are a few strokes and the last lesson concentrated on the legs. the opening one is just where you start at the head and gently run both hands down either side of their body...kinda like you're drawing a triangle...Ioan loves that one.

He's currently happy sitting in his inflatable ring...loves watching cbeebies there.

righto I'm off to get some sewing done while I can. Hope everyone has a good day
