I had to re-read that post, Dylan! What sort of dog is he? Whenever a mummy says they've had a useless night, I automatically assume its the baba, not the dog!

:rotfl:I have to admit the first time I read Ro's posts I thought Dylan was a child! But then something was said (can't remember what - blame baby brain...) that didn't quite make sense in the context of a baby, and I realised she was talking about a dog! :o

    Afternoon:D

Well ladies Dylan is sort of my adopted child ;) he's my mothers cairn terrier/terror who I look after whilst she's at work. My avvy is of him as a pup, he's pretty much a multi coloured westie. I agreed to look after him and found out I was pregnant just as mum was due to pick him up ! Last night was carp as next door was gardening until late so he was barking and whining until late. Thankfully mum comes back tomorrow to be fair he has not been bad at night last night was the first bad night. Today he has slipped under the gate that hubby put up in are garden last weekend, not looking forward to informing hubby:eek:

Kira - hope you had a good nite, nice to see you over here I know it's not easy having to drag the lappy out ! :D you and cj any better?

Mimi- meant to say that is terrible about the dog ! Hope u enjoy your break!

Seren - hope LO is ok after jabs and sleeps them off. Let us know how you get on with baby massage too !

Smiley - ooh a holiday ! Enjoy ! Really want to book so something now!! Can we see a pic of your creation when it's finished?

    Bluebell - hello !

Nutella- £9 !!! Bloody hell !! This is MSE you know!! But suppose it was essential :D

Mozzy - natwest  m&s  waiting response from latter ! How's Charlie and u?

'bloody hell' it let me type 'bloody hell' :D

Scott's snoozing now it's been so close here, hoping it will cool tonite.
Hubby going to be back late tonite as he is having a shandy ! 7pm I mean c'mon I think that this is the wildest behaviour so far since Scott's arrival lol

Ages ago I mentioned that I was changing Scott in old drawer lined with a changing mat etc which sits on top of another chest of drawers. The drawer handle faces the wall and the drawer does not move so Scott is safe if I walk off to wash hands. I have bought a couple of cheap underbed storage drawers from mothercare clearance (white) which are bigger. I will use one downstairs for changing but have an old table to put it on as it's bigger. As I find I am too tempted to wash hands etc and don't want him rolling. I like to change him higher up as saves back etc. The other drawer I am hoping it will fit under the cotbed in due course for storage we will see as its quite big or use for his future single bed.

They are very well made, flat pack with wheels , they are £33 for TWO delivered

Above seems quite cheap for a toy box thought I would mention, we have ended up with a homebase heavy duty wood flat pack box 'not a toy box' but we are using it as such and not put the fixings for the lid on for now.

I'm still feeling pretty wobbly and keep getting flashbacks - it's like the floodgates opened completely with being back near that environment yesterday.

Have now rang Bliss and they're trying to sort out some kind of counselling for me - don't want to go to the doctors because after the SS stuff I don't trust the medical bods at all and don't want any sniff of not coping on my file to trigger any interest whatsoever in me from SS again.

Dizzi - am glad that you rang bliss and you will hopefully get some counselling soon. Hopefully this will be the first positive step to feeling much better in time. How is your lo doing? It's so hot Scott is in his little tractor romper today bless him !

Nutella - What country is that? Very expensive!!!

Malawi - wonderful place, but completely landlocked so import duties are very high and anything foreign-made is expensive. Was trying to be as MSE as possible, but as Ro pointed out, certain things are essential! :o

    HI Ro!!

    Hi Ladies!!

Sorry been awol today, but i'm really enjoying my time lately with Charlie. I was just saying to hubby, i feel so sad now that i'm going back to work end of July, coz only lately, we've been having such a good time together, and i'm really enjoying it. The first few months were just so difficult with his colic, they were long and hard days!!!
But now, its just so much better, and i love how close we are and how much I can make him smile. Booooo!!! I need to win some money so i can stay off longer, just until he starts school lol

How's everyone? Hope you all had a good day. Bloody hot hey!
Ro - did you see the pic i posted of Charlie sleeping on fb? Was so hot here, it's still 25dg in his room!

    Well, today i've ordered:
    Ebay - 2 x Plastic Tablecloths
Tesco - Tommee Tippee Comfi Bib, Tommee Tippee bowls and spoons, Organix baby Rice, and 10 jars of Hipps Organic various fruit/vegetable.
Decided to leave the magic cup until his grabbing/holding skills are better.

Charlie is 19wks tomorrow, so let the fun begin!!! (and the mess, i'm sure!!)

Morning all. Has been busy on here!

Dizzi - really want to send you hugs for what you're going through. So glad you've found bliss to talk to about things, it will help in time xxx

We had 3rd jabs last night. So glad that is over! There was a lot of screaming and crying, but I made DH hold her and I was less tempted to burst into tears than before! She screamed the surgery down though, and I gave her a feed in the waiting room after but she was still complaining and one of the doctors came out to see if we were okay! I thought with the three jabs one went in the arm, but she had two in one leg and one in the other as the nurse said her arms were too small. Poor babber.

Been obsessively keeping an eye on her temperature and behaviour but so far she seems to be fine.

I really like the sock puppet thing btw. Lots of sewing, but they are both really cute. I'm doing munchkin a cross stitch sampler but so far there is very little progress. I may get it done by the time she goes to school!
