    Hi!

Sorry, I'm doing my bestest to post and keep up to date, but been a busy work week!

I'm off to Wales for a week tomorrow, can't wait! Been ages sonce I had a caravan holiday (reminisant of childhood!) and it'll be good! Going to take Azra swimming, to the kids clubs, eeeek!

I have read back, but this forum is getting busy again :j and I can't remember what everyone is up to. So, I will say, I will be back later on but happy thursday to everyone!

Ive decided that for Azra's 1st first birthday I am going to make her something, rather than buy something. She needs nothing and I dont want her to just get something from me!

So we have gone with some puppets from the hobbycraft ideas section.
Anyone crafty to give any tips!! Bluebell - I belive you are crafty?

They look great, I particularly like the zebra :) tips are tricky... erm... measure lots of times before you cut the shapes, and don't use glue, sew everything, as babies are remarkably destructive. I'd just sew on eyes, with thread/wool rather than using buttons just in case as they could get pulled off and eaten. If you only end up making one then I'd say do the monkey as there are less pieces to be pulled off! Oh, and shop around for materials as hobbycraft are quite expensive.

    Have fun in Wales!

Hope everyone had a good nights sleep. Elliot was slightly better last night but still woke about 4 times wanting food. at least he goes back to sleep fairly easily after eating.

One trouser leg done, one to go...
  • Had third round of injections this morning...he cried a lot more that the first two batches :-(

Off to a baby massage class at the surestart centre this afternoon....put my name down just after he was born as I was collared when going in to see the midwife...will hopefully be a little gentle kick start into going to some groups.

thanks for the exercise tips pram walking might be more realistic and conquering the "i'm tired I need to Munch" munchies will be another hurdle!
  • Oh with the puppets you can get safety eyes which should withstand a lot of destruction. You've reminded me about a parrot one I crocheted for a pirate hen party....I'll have to pull it out and see if ioan likes it.

Hope you are all well xx
  • Morning Ro!
I had to re-read that post, Dylan! What sort of dog is he? Whenever a mummy says they've had a useless night, I automatically assume its the baba, not the dog!
Hugs, hope the weather isn't too bad in your area x
