Thanks for the replies, I made dp decorate Noah's nursery and build his cot about 5 weeks ago because I wanted to see it looking lovely!! :p I haven't got room in my bedroom for his cot that's why I'm hoping to keep him in his Moses basket for as long as possible!! :D

Ro - I couldn't believe it when he started sleeping through that young, I thought it was a one off but it has been every night since  he didn't wake until 10.30am on Sunday
Not been up to much today, we went to baby group yesterday so Noah is making up the busy arm movements he was making by sleeping (again!!) !!!

    Hi

Would it be okay if I join? I have a little girl aged 8 weeks and the thread looks very useful. I have only recently found time to get back on the internet.

Nutella - mozzy method, love it haha!

Sammie - Charlie was 4mnths when we put him in his own room, and he sleeps better and longer now without us constantly stirring him when we move round/go to toilet etc.....

Is it just me, or do you suddenly realise how squeaky your floorboards are once you've had a baby! I have to mentally picture the noisy ones when sneaking out of his room, its like an obstacle course! x

Been busy on here while I've been entertaining my parents! Well, munchkin has, they are far more interested in her than anything else. I did get to show them my new custom nappies though!

Welcome happyem, new mummies are always welcome!

Sammie - we've had munchkin in her cot for the last week (so from 22 weeks) but we rearranged everything to squeeze it into our bedroom. I don't want her in her own room just yet, especially as she always has at least one night feed and it's hard enough for me to get her from right by the bed, I don't want to have to go next door! I'm not quite sure how DH is managing to get in and out of bed with the amount of space his side, but thankfully he is quite slim!

Unlike me of course! Mum didn't mention it today, she must be saving it for another occasion or has taken the hint that I don't want to hear about it. I'm glad she's doing something for her because she has some health problems which are either caused or exacerbated by her weight and she isn't getting any younger so they are becoming more of an issue. However, getting on my case isn't on (she's several stone heavier than me). I hope to lose more weight but being nagged isn't going to help me!

I'd like another baby! We don't plan on munchkin being an only child but then who knows, it's not like we can guarantee these things. I just know that we don't have ages to try as I'm already getting on a bit!!

    Hello all !

Mozzy - :D we have squeaky floor boards in our room but dh fixed the ones on the landing a while ago as they were actually broken  but not by me :D hope you enjoyed the fresh air x

Sammie - we just have Scott no more children !! I haven't a clue how peeps cope with more than one !! I am tired all the time and consider Scott pretty good most of the time (touching the side of a plank of wood !!) I take it you have 8 hands to deal with more than one ;)
Not sure you can exchange your eldest think you only get a credit note ;)

Crabapple - she obviously knew not to go there !! I understand though that it's good for her especially if it helps health wise. My mother has always been overweight and has high blood pressure although she insists that the guidelines are a load of codswallop. Partly the reason why I decided to offer to look after a dog for her whilst she's at work. She has lost a bit due to walking Dylan during week and weekends she does a couple of long walks. I just need to follow suit :o it's funny how you take your baba anywhere and suddenly you become invisible lol ! Quite admire you for being up for another baby !! You have more stamina than me lol ! But as you say if you don't have lots of time then etc oh better watch it lol
