    Afternoon all x

Thanks Gilly and you are not a failure either and hope LO being a good boy x

Always_alone - sorry to hear you have been having a hard time with LO. Hope he is perking up. This parenting lark is an extreme rollercoaster at times and it's normal to feel its too much at times. Hope the time passes quickly for you until hubby home.

    Hope everyone ok

    Ro xx

Thank you Gilly, i did that last night when it got too much. Put him down in his cot and took some time out. I could hear him continue to cry though and when i went back in, he seemed to ramp it up as if he hated me :(

I had to do that sometimes with baby one, he screamed for months! I was so relieved when I realised this one didn't do the same. If he cries more when he sees you, it is only because he's trying to tell you he's unhappy and has no other way of doing it.
Feeds not going great now, he's taken 3ozs, normally takes nearer 5 but seems to just want to play and kick his feet about. He starts getting worked up as soon as i put the bottle anywhere near him although he is giving me the normal signs that he is still hungry and i've got his wind up.

We've got the same this evening too, screams because dinner isn't quick enough, then takes two sips and turns round to watch tv! He's been doing this for half an hour now. Damn jabs. And I've just checked my diary and found Daddy is busy four out of five weekends, so I guess the next lot are all mine too. :(

    Hi Ladies!!

Sorry been awol lately. My mum has gone back to South Africa today after being here for 5wks. She's been such a great help and was so good seeing her! Charlie loved her, always giving her the biggest of grins :D

Haven't read back just yet, but wanted to pop in and give all those struggling big hugs.
Hubby did all the feeds last night so I had my first full nights sleep in 9wks. Tonight i'm doing it, so best get to bed now. Once Charlie wakes up after 4/5hrs at 12/1am, he wakes usually every 2hrs after that for feeding.

Ro - hi there hun. Know how you feel about the bf'ding. I felt so bad and guilty afterwards and kept thinking I should keep at it. But at the end of the day, Charlie was getting upset and frustrated at feeds and just wanted the bottle there and then. I just wasn't producing enough milk for him x

Good morning everyone. I'm not a big poster, but was wondering if anyone has attempted to take their LO to the cinema. The Odeon do specific screenings for newbies where the audio is a bit quieter and the lighting is not so dark. Maybe its crazy to even think about it, but going a bit stir crazy in the house!
