Ro, Jessie is so much like Scott, they are only days apart so prob expected. Last night was utter hell as she decided to whine, not cry, not gurgle all night, she is sucking madly on her fists, bonjella had no effect at all.
Put her in her jumperoo at 5am and she was asleep within 30mins lol xx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
Help Toniq
Naughty bubba's ! Scott also drooling (like a dog catching sight of a big roast chicken :rotfl:) he is fist sucking and has been for a couple of weeks but but does not appear to be uncomfortable yet!! We did by some teething toys incase. We were going to try bonjela if he seemed distressed but think its still early days. Poor you though if she is not happy girl because as we know unhappy bubba = unhappy mumma.
I am sure Scott would be jealous of the jumperoo ! He has a bright starts bounce bounce baby but he has to wait until 4 months.
Hope you have a better night xx

Glad you've got home Dizzi
Hope everyone has had a good day today. DH said Elliot kept spitting the bottle out and screaming. I'd been working at home all last week so think he'd forgotten about bottles. He took it OK in the afternoon so hopefully just a temporary problem.
We rearranged the furniture for the cot, and moved a beanbag down to the living room thinking we could prop Elliot up on it... it is now my cat's new bed instead... she is spending most of the day curled up on it!0 -
Hi Ladies,
Its funny to hear stories about your LO's sucking their hands, Poppy has just discovered her hands over the weekend and has started to have a good old suck! She makes a lot of noise and my 3 dogs always have a mooch over cos they think she is eating something tasty!
Finding her really changing these past few days and is getting very willful (like her Mum!) she has started to pull her oxygen tubing out of her nose at any opportunity, I'm having to swaddle her arms by her side at night, she doesn't like it, but I don't have a choice, I can't watch her 24 hours a day!
Hope all are OK, going to get a brew and watch the 2 corrie's!

Heehee, Charlie has discovered his hands too, cue loud sucking noises, especially when I'm trying to wind him over my shoulder.
We still have to swaddle Charlie every night, otherwise he just keeps waking himself up with startle reflex!DFD February 2012

Just doing the last feed before bed and noticed a very bald patch on Poppy's head!! Never noticed before, but its perfectly round and totally hairless!! She looks like a little old man who has a bald patch (but much cuter of course!) :rotfl::heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Seb is very bald on top, with a bunch of hair at the back of his head, we joke that he has his dads haircut, I suppose he may as well get used to it as my dad is bald too.:ANeeding to save all the money, lots of MSE learning still to do

Thank you all ladies for your kind words
Aftermath of injections has now turned into full-on teething, we have bright red cheeks, lots of fist sucking, oooodles of dribbling etc so doesn't look like we're going to have a let-up any time soon. Bonjela doesn't seem to be having any effect and i'm reluctant to give hime anything stronger for fear of it not working when the teeth are actually cutting through.
Feeding still not going great, he's now decided he only wants 2ozs but still every 3-4 hours so i am seriously getting concerned he's not taking enoughI'm guessing this is now down to teething
Joys of motherhood eh?
I think i will send a PM for the private fb group, any support would be good at the mo!0
