Lola - I haven't tried it but if I did would be going when its very quiet , nothing ventured nothing gained !!! Feel a bit stir crazy too as its a bit damp for walking so far today !0 -
Lola, if we had an Odeon I'd definitely give it a try! It does nothing but rain here and I'd love something vaguely grown up to do.0

hi all sorry i have only skim read looking for news on dizzi.
i will manage to login later and read the thread properly, but first, a nap is in order0 -
We're home anyway - they finally discharged us about 2pm yesterday... unfortunately to the utter chaos of family visiting, right when I was trying to get everything unpacked, mountains of new baby clothes washed and sorted, stuff people had been bringing in and out from the hospital sorted and figure out a new breast pump!
Once the insanity died down a bit (and I figured out how to work the damned thing) - we realised that the microwave steriliser is a pain in the backside compared to the bucket of milton jobbie the hospital were using (so off on the hunt for one of those this afternoon), that we'd left a bottle in the hospital (hey ho) and that the change in environment was really affecting the lil miss - she's cried and grizled for food constantly all evening and night - really really unsettled and I'll admit that I was so blooming knackered and desperate to be in my own bed that I jsut told hubby to give her some formula at 5am so I didn't have to faff on setting the pump up and got a break!
Clapham junction here this morning - health visitor and midwife showed up together (least they coordinated it)... hospital have rang twice - once to say neo-natal don't want us back in for a checkup, once to say that their continuing care team aren't going to come out for followup - she's well over their weight cut off for visits, but below their age cutoff by 2 hours so they're not bothering... and to ask millions of condescending questions because I dare to come home feeding expressed breast milk - have I got a plan B if my supply dries up... nah I just thought I wouldn't feed her of course! Least that's the whole hospital experience behind me though if they've discharged me.
Midwife horrified by how I was treated now she's heard it -has privately encouraged me to photocopy my part 2 notes so I have a record of how negatively I was viewed and treated following labour... and to complain. Again and again people vindicate what I'm thinking about hte treatment we had - it's definitely not me doing my usual neurotic fuss pot thing - it WAS wrong!
Waiting in for Mr Kiddicare at present, then got to walk the dogs with the pram (how I've been waiting for that) and go to Tesco/Mothercare etc - well they did encourage us to get out and about!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

Just wanted to pop in to say congratulations Dizzi on your release from hospital

Hello. Been offline all weekend somehow, it must have been busy but I don't recall doing anything apart from what LO wanted!
Hugs to those struggling at the moment. I think my baby is having a sleep regression and I've really been missing the chunks of sleep she let me have. Even while sleeping she's been really restless so I've spent a lot of the early hours awake waiting for her to wake up even though she doesn't every time.
Been watching her today and for the first time she has picked up her bunny toy with both hands and been waving it around. Judging by the feel of it she's also been eating and drooling over it too.
Other sweet moment from today was visiting my parents and my dad took her off into the next room and I could hear him talking to her and her 'talking' back. Dad loved it too, and reckons she was saying grandad:rotfl::heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls
