Hi all, saw the pead yday and after some monitoring and lots of screaming (William, not me ;)) we have been given a lactose free milk, that 'o' medicine gilly mention before, gaviscon and domperidone. LO has reflux caused by possible milk allergy, so now it's just time will tell. Hope ths is the answer, I have suspected it since 2weeks old. Mothers instincts.
Thanks for ur help so far, will keep you updated.

Keza- hope your LO improves now with the right milk and meds poor thing x

Ooh what a lot of naughty cats there are about :D:rotfl:

Asda - wipes say £4 for 6 huggies pure online I got delivered the packs of 4 in error and the delivery sheet shows packs of 6 delivered but the price for 4 (£3.80) ! Cue phones calls to asda seems to be a problem somewhere but I specifically said no subs so after a few calls getting some money refunded so good customer service :) make sure you check if you order some...

This has made me really happy reading this tonight. I'm not sure the omeprazole has done loads for us, BUT the milk has been amazing and when we gave him teething sachets with lactose in it, his reflux returned despite the medication. So heads up when it comes to teething, don't use the normal powders, Weleda do a lacto free teething powder ;) Which milk have you been given?

Really hope this is it for you, it's hard enough having a new born without the added misery of reflux and noone will truly understand unless they have been through it. Please do keep us updated and I hope little William feels better soon. I saw results almost instantly and it was 100% better by 4-5 days xx

Morning gopppers, congratulations on your little girl! (Nosed pregnancy thread to find out!).

Just finished an early morning express so I could get back to sleep - baby is happily away with the fairies but I woke up leaky and aching. Will I ever get to sleep through the night again??!

Toniq- have bought the sleepcurve mattress from Argos (free sheets;) had noticed his head slightly flat at back as favours one side so going to start using it for naps today for a gradual change so thanks for mentioning mattress :) hope it will help correct it over time, worth ago as don't want him having any probs down the line should it get worse.

How are you all getting on to the new mummies?
Hope you are recovering well, it does take quite a while for the body to get back to normal and I hope you have some choccies to keep you going at night. Hubby still looks after LO until 10pm in the evening so I can go to bed early and am in charge if he wakes as hubby works. If you have any trouble with bf hope you ask for local support, we ended up combined feeding as LO lost a lot of weight the first week. Anyway good luck xx
