we had 11-4.30 am here
Still 2-3 hours in the day tho
As for knowing when u need to change the teats, i`d say when u can see they r getting frustrated and more windy. The harder they try to suck for more milk, the mor air they will take in!! xxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T

Morning,
Feed wise, we went from 10:00-4:00  but sleep wise it was 12:00 - 4:00
Its a lovely day here today, I have been rushing round like a mad woman getting all the washing in as it dries so quickly on the line - OH thinks I am right weird!
Off to do the food shop soon and go and see OH parents, not looking forward to it as she always tells me what is wrong with him!! He's hungry, he's got wind, he's tired...grrrr.
Btw, I will join the screaming club with mozzy and co! Mine tends to have his screams at 8:30am - 11am ish and then 6:30pm - 9:00ish, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. Normally, he just wants holding as he is quite a clingy baby - but sometimes I dont have time to just sit and cuddle so he has to go down - hence the screaming! I might just bite the bullet and buy a baby carrier so he is constantly glued to me :rotfl:at least then I might be able to get some housework done!!
Can I ask if anyone elses baby falls asleep on them before they go in thier crib/basket? I just cant put Aiden down awake, he cries and cries and then when we pick him up he falls asleep on us and we have to transfer him to the basket. I know its not what the books say, i.e. put them to bed while they are 90% asleep, but it just doesnt work for him! Am I the only one?!

Thanks for this pinkpixie
can I just ask was me of the symptoms really bad bottom wind? He gets stomach cramps too
I'm starting to think I can't cope wit his screaming and tantrums and I'm only 8weeks in.
Hi Keza
Ava has really bad bottom wind and stomach pains, you can hear it gurgling away. I feel the same about the screaming, some days i just don't think i can cope, especially when she's doing it when OH is at work. Don't know if it's just colic or reflux or me being a new mum, I've never been to the Drs or anything as i'm worried that they'll just say 'she's a baby and babies cry!' We've changed her milk from SMA to Aptamil and she is no longer feeding constantly and seems a little easier to settle. I just hope it makes a bigger difference soon (we only changed on wed) she was 5 weeks on friday and i don't want to look back on the first weeks of her life and only think of the screaming!
Hope it gets better for you hun, remember you're not alone x0 -

oh they will say that but it doesnt mean they are rightif one more person said that to me I would have screamed. If you think theres something wrong, there may be. mothers intuition. I have people telling me theyve never seen a happy or more content baby but before we got him sorted with meds and milk he cried every hour he was awake! I honestly thought id made the biggest mistake of my life. So trust your gut instinct xx

Afternoon Ladies and Babies xx
Jess has either a 4hr or 5hr sleep from when we go upstairs, then it's a 2hr sleep, then no chance of getting her down after the 5:30 am feed.
We got her a jumperoo at the weekend and she loves it,she happily stares at the frog for ages and coo's away at the activites. I know she is 12 weeks but the reviews showed loads of mums with similar age baby's enjoying it.
Jess seems a totally different baby since she got to 10 weeks, colic totally gone, she doesn't take infacol anymore and is such a sweet little girl, rarely crying now and loves being cuddled, we do alot of floor time with her and sing mad songs!
Hope everyone is doing okay, Just about to order Jess a big girl cot! She had the sleepcurve mattress for crib, stops flathead, so will invest in same again.
second injections this week, really hope it doesn't make her a sad girl again, Ro the avvy is gorgeous love seeing Dylan!
here's to a peaceful day for us all xxxxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -

No one around me has been listening. I have been barking on about him having reflux since he was 3 weeks old but everyone's saying, he's a baby and babies cry. But here we are into week 8 and he's been put on reflux medicine. Trust your mothers instincts.
We are seeing a ped tomorrow for a number of things, his wonky head won't turn to the left, something with his hips and this bad tummy cramps/reflux issue.
Defo go docs thou Hun if you feel you can't cope. Been questioning recently why I became a mum but I know this is only exhaustion and the effects of him screaming which isn't his fault. It's tough! I feel a bit sorry for myself after my difficult brirth and now the screaming fr the pas 8 weeks. But I'm sure it will get better xCurrent Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).0 -
Hi Ladies!!
Well Charlie went to the docs on Friday re his screaming etc during feeds. And they just told us the same as last time - his body is still learning how to work, so he's still struggling a bit to deal with wind etc. So will just see how it goes. He still seems in a lot of pain during feeding, but otherwise during the day he seems to be doing a lot better.
We do still have the witching hour though haha, but hey, I can cope as long as its not all day like we sometimes have!! Its still hard not being able to do anything to ease his pain
Had my first bath with him tonight, was very special
Lucy, we changed to size 2 teats, but most of the milk ended up coming out his mouth, so went back to size 1. He seems happy enough. on them.
Sunshine - welcome to the screaming club haha. Hard isn't it!!!
As for falling asleep on me before basket - since we've been swaddling him, he settles so so so much easier. And usually just falls asleep himself. The swaddleme ones are great, quick and simple to use.DFD February 2012
