I don't normally post on here but I saw Keza's post about the reflux. Both of my boys (aged 3 and nearly 1) have had silent reflux and had symptoms as you describe. It takes around 2 weeks for medicines to work, sometimes longer (depends on how badly affected they were). If the ranitidine doesn't work, you can ask for omeprazole or lansoprazole, as they are much stronger - both my boys ended up on one of them. I hope you find a solution soon - I know how horrible it is.

Thanks for this pinkpixie :) can I just ask was me of the symptoms really bad bottom wind? He gets stomach cramps too :( I'm starting to think I can't cope wit his screaming and tantrums and I'm only 8weeks in.

Thanks Keza. I've also tried most of those. My new thing will be Dr Brown bottles. Just waiting for them to be delivered thanks to some lovely ladies on here. I'll keep trying, anything to help Charlie! xx

Hi mozzy, hope they work. We use dr browns bottles from the start so I'm not sure how much worse he would be without them. Xx

We use the mam bottles and they have been great, I changed his afternoon feed to the size 2 teats and 3oz went down in 5 mins, then he zonked out with milk bliss and left the last oz. So much quicker! I'm going to try making the size 1 bigger before buying the next size up. Thanks for everyone's suggestions!

Grrr just been woken by Amelie as feed was due around 3.30am,get bottle ready.......and she has gone back to sleep:rotfl:

Re bottle teats,we are still on the number 1s on Tommeee Tippee. How do you know when to change them?

btw have been looking out for bargains on TT 260 size bottles(the pink decorated ones) and cheapest online was around £24 for 6. Sainsburys had them reduced to £12 so grabbed the last box. clear pack of 6 were around £9. HTH X
