Hi mozzy and darkphaery
We have the same screaming problem with William, except its straight after feeds and in between, all day long! He sleeps from 10pm - 2am then 3am - 6am but won't go down during the day.
He has shocking wind and I think reflux. Back up docs today.
We changed from aptamil to hipp organic milk and it has improved his number2s but not the wind.
We've tried in facial, gripe water, colief, gaviscon and now we are on domperidone and ranitidine 3 times a day but no improvement
Just wanted to let you know your not alone and I have the same problem, poor soulsxx

Hello keza. My little one was pretty similar and he had reflux and the meds didnt seem to work. Apparently up to 50% of reflux is caused by a cows milk protein intollerance. ever since we got him onto special milk he has been a different baby. He is on Nutramigen AA (which is made the same as neocate) and 15mg of omeprazole once a day and he is honestly a different boy. Should ask about the milk xxThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

The soft fit shield on my Medela Swing breast pump is a funny shape, noooooooooooo. I can't express properly, not getting proper suction and it's dripping out the bottom. I'm at work too so I'm mega annoyed at it not working as I'm getting uncomfortable
Has anyone else had this problem with them? It was second hand but unused, and I've got the receipt so hopefully I'll be able to get another shield from them!!! There is a more solid one in the box which I hadn't tried, but that's at home. Might have to just go home at lunchtime unless DH delivers it here (or a hungry baby, either would work).

We have ordered quite a bit including a train set god knows where we are going to put it  but it all looked so lovelyhubby will have to be patient, I can see the gleam of excitement in his eyes thank god we had a boy as barbies wouldn't have been the same!

Gilly - a tooth already !!!:eek::eek: omg!!
Those with the reflux/ suspected intolerance issues hope things improve.
Bluebell- that's proper pants... Hope you get the baby delivered yk you sharpish...
My iron count is still low 10.3 from 10 a month ago (been using spatone but its not enough) and am sure it's worse after a horrendous first aunt flo visit (be prepared if you are usually a heavy bleeder I have gone through so many massive pads) I am hoping next one will be back to normal heavy. Dr wanted me on the dreaded iron tablets which I hate but she has given me a liquid iron so will see how it goes. In hindsight i probably should have been tested after the birth never mind.
Scott currently having a mammoth feed.
Mummy has consumed too much chocolate this Morning......0 -
I don't normally post on here but I saw Keza's post about the reflux. Both of my boys (aged 3 and nearly 1) have had silent reflux and had symptoms as you describe. It takes around 2 weeks for medicines to work, sometimes longer (depends on how badly affected they were). If the ranitidine doesn't work, you can ask for omeprazole or lansoprazole, as they are much stronger - both my boys ended up on one of them. I hope you find a solution soon - I know how horrible it is.:footie: Mummy to 2 boys - born 2009 and 2011 :footie:0

Yay, baby delivered and fed. DH has now disappeared and said I get to keep him for the afternoon... he's only left me one nappy though so hopefully there won't be any poonamis.... At least it's quiet here at work today!
Edit - Ro, there's no such thing as too much chocolate0 -
Glad you got your baby Bluebell! And I agree that there's no such thing as too much chocolate, although I briefly had the thought that we had too much when easter visits were over and we rounded up our presents.
My little baby is three months old already . Been to HV clinic today and she is 10lb13 which puts her about 9th centile so she still is really little for her age, thanks to daddy's genes. She probably just lost a couple of ounces in a nappy though!
Everyone says they grow up so fast, and I'm starting to understand that. Never mind, can always try for a second to remind myself what life with a newborn is like...:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls
