Back to the Moses topic, once LO outgrows his we will just take it out of the small crib it is sitting in and put him in the crib but it will only give him a couple of inches :rotfl: but every inch counts. Starting to think when he eventually outgrows crib will want cotbed in with us  can't bear the thought of him being too far away
I cant stand the idea of having to wake up, try and keep the cats in our room whilst sliding out our room and across the hall to the spare room, only to find she wasnt ACTUALLY awake, but was just sucking her thumb reaaaaaally loudly, and then having to reverse the procedure!
Plus i wont be able to be uber lazy mommy and rock the crib from my bed with the dressing gown belt i tied to it...Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

I will miss Charlie being in with us, but his room is right next to ours, literally 7 steps from our bed to his! But won't miss turning over in bed in slow motion every night in fear of waking himDFD February 2012

Morning all !
Kira - think you rocking the crib with ur dressing gown belt is verging genius :rotfl: reminds me of hubby and his pole () pre- us being together he used to lie in bed and switch his tv off with a pole :rotfl::rotfl: I still tease him about it now..... Found it in his old bedroom as was like !!!!!! and it turned out that was what he was doing. ( apparently standbye not good enough)
Mozzy - i am also careful when turning too but tiptoeing is fine until I stub my toe on the crib legs  then muffle a scream....0 -
Article re flat head problem increasing

Morning
My little monkey has spent over an hour trying to go down for a nap, he really fights it sometimes - he has finally gone down so hopefully I can have a piece of toast and dry my hair before he wakes.
Re the sleeping situation, mozzy I agree - my LO is such a light sleeper so hopefully when he is in his own room at some point he will settle a little better, I went to bed early with him one night last week and decided to read a magazine in bed - I had to turn each page so slowly in the end I only managed about 3 pages and gave up !:rotfl:
Ro - re the flat head syndrome, my sisters little boy had a mild case, he didnt need a helmet, it was because when he was little he would contstantly lie on one side of his head, in his crib or on his playmat, even if they moved him around he still favoured that side. In the end they had a positioner thing precribed by the GP which positioned his head properly. It did correct it, but it wasnt too great as it meant he couldnt look around and move much. Hes 19 months now though and he is fine
Last night was the first night that Aiden slept the whole night in his basket, normally when he wakes for feed I have to cuddle him back to sleep and I end up falling asleep in the chair with him on me as it takes that long! But last night he woke at 2 and was fed and changed and asleep in his basket by 2:45...progress :T

Sunshine- sounds like ur LO is doing really well ! Long may it continue :rotfl: I tended to find that it was a bit up and down but it's great when they go longer as well.
I have a friend who's boy has the flat head problem, he does sleep a lot and hates tummy time. It is making me slightly paranoid as think Scott's is a bit wonky from favouring one side to rest his head not much but does make u paranoid !!! but then everything does when u have a baba !0 -
Mine hates tummy time as well, he likes to look around. Luckily he insists on sitting up a lot. I must say, though I'm not convinced flat head is a serious problem long term, I don't like to see babies left in car seats for ages.
Another sea of puke this morning, amazingly I caught most of it in a muslin!0 -
Hi. Just back from rheumatologist appointment, which was a mission with LO and public transport. Amelie wouldnt stop crying as it was feed time so queue lots of screaming as her feed was interupted for appt, blood test, pharmasist etc,so finished her feed off in waiting area, whilst some grumpy git tutted at Amelie's crying:mad::mad::mad:
Anyway, hope everyone is well. x:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove
