Aaron loves tummy time, but he can hold his head up to look about, I think if he couldn't he'd hate it.

His first tooth is almost through, I can see the white of the tip  he won't let me get my finger too close to have a feel though :(

    Hi

Charlie was the same hun. We changed from SMA Gold to Aptimal, and things are much better now. Not sure if its the milk change or just him getting better, but we had no problems changing formula. At first he was feeding every 3/4hrs, but during the day now, he's roughly feeding every 2hrs. We're just going with it, if he's hungry, i'll offer him. I'm sure it'll go back to 3/4hrs at some point.
And if and when you do change, give it a few weeks to see the results. All's I know, is that he is definitely better than what he was :)

thanks Mozzy and everyone else who offered advice. We changed to Aptamil yesterday. Just straight switched from SMA. Two major changes already 1. she doesn't dribble any more, with the SMA it was pouring from each side of her mouth and we used bibs like they were going out of fashion 2. she's gone at least 3.5 hours between feeds today which was previously unheard of! She's still been grouchy today but i can't ask for everything at once :)

She also amazed me totally by screaming from 4pm-8:30pm yesterday, had 5oz at 8:30 screamed for another hour and slept 9:30 to 3:30!!! I couldn't believe it. She woke up had another 5oz and slept for another 3 hours.

I hope we're making heading in the right direction and hopefully the screaming will stop. Had some tonight, had a bath and more screaming then she's gone to sleep :) All fingers and toes crossed :)

Hope everyone else is coping well x

Sunshine- sounds like ur LO is doing really well ! Long may it continue :rotfl: I tended to find that it was a bit up and down but it's great when they go longer as well.
I have a friend who's boy has the flat head problem, he does sleep a lot and hates tummy time. It is making me slightly paranoid as think Scott's is a bit wonky from favouring one side to rest his head not much but does make u paranoid !!! but then everything does when u have a baba !

Very true - I am soooo paranoid about everything Aiden does, even milk spots worried me at first :o

Gilly - wow, a first tooth!! I cant imagine Aiden getting teeth, I actually cant imagine him growing - even though he is?! I want him to stay a little one for ever!!

Welcome Sammie, your LO is not much younger than mine :) he is 4.5 wks. Hope you are doing okay.

Darkpharey - great news about the improvement on the milk, fingers crossed things stay that way for you.

Took little man out in his carrycot on the pram as I wanted to use the colour pack we brought, he wasnt too keen on being in there :( he kept crying in the orange shop when me and my mum were upgrading our phones, I got him out for a cuddle and some rude old lady scowled at me and snapped saying - he is hungry. he wasnt hungry, as I fed him 10 minutes before while we were eating - he just wanted a cuddle. Interfering witch.

Hope everyone had good days, I'm making toad in the hole for tea, I really fancied it this morning but I had a big panini for lunch and now I am not hungry at all!!

    Hi Mozzy

forgot to ask, how much is Charlie taking every 2 hours?

It's nice to know there's some hope, no one else i've spoken to seems to have had an upset baby :)

    thanks :)

I think I've shared this little nugget before, but at a pinch, because of the wide necks, vests will go down as well as up. :D

Hi! He has roughly 4oz, sometimes a bit more. But during the night feed, is say he has between 3-4oz.

About the screaming, we have the exact same thing with Charlie. Usually its from 4pm onwards till bed time, but today, its been a lot longer. Just riding it out for now, HOPING it gets better!

He doesn't sleep during the day, but does during the night, from 7:30-12, then waking every 2hrs roughly after that for feeds.

My book said at around 9/10wks things should start getting better with the crying. So waiting to see. He's 8wks tomorrow!

    Good luck hun x

Mimi, love the scampi photo :)

The person I share an office with isn't in today as she's about to become a Grandma, her daughter is being induced today. It's making me feel a bit broody again, aargh. DH and I had a finances chat and we're going to struggle to pay for childcare for 1, so two just isn't an option unless he either finds funding for his studies or decides to stay home and be a full time Dad.

Elliot was marginally better at sleeping last night, went for 4 hours then woke every 2 hrs wanting food. It's better than 1.5 - 2 hours all night which he was doing last weekend, but given that a couple of weeks ago he'd easily do 6 hours, I'm hoping that he keeps improving his sleep times....
