HEY HEY!!!
Thought i would drop by - hope you are well - I havent read back yet (bad me!) but i will
Few things i wanna add - When Amy was born we had a moses basket on a stand downstairs, then another basket in the crib upstairs. At 9 weeks old I took her out of the moses basket, put her in the crib and she's slept through ever since (except that hic up at hospital!)
I dont use a duvet/blanket - instead she is in a "footmuff" type thing (as she kicks the covers off) and obviously i check she doesnt over heat etc (Athough now she has realised how to get out of the foot muff lol)
Bath time - Amy gets bathed once a week (unless she gets really sicky) and she goes in the bath half an hour before bed time and before a feed. The bath relaxes her, by the time she's had a bath and is dry etc then he bottle is cooled down and she has that then off to bed at 7pm.
I do not go in the bath with Amy - i find it easier to bath her on her own.
I never woke Amy for feeds - She's pretty much a 4oz feed every hour or so during the day then sleeps through at night - last feed at 6:45pm, bed at 7pm, wakes at 6am, feed at 6:15am (First feed of the day is always 7oz)
I'm umming and arghing over a high chair on ebay atm - it's at £20, to buy new it is £100 - but they are on sale at the moment for £48. Seller also has a baby walker for £15..... do i bid.... do i not bid.... ah help!
Those with smart phones - if you wanna monitor feeds/sleeps ect really easy then i can not stress enough how great ive found BABY ESP - Have used it since Amy was born (Trial version is free, app is approx £2) - saves from carrying paper about lol0 -
Also question for the ladies who's baba's are around my Los age (born jan 17) he is still in Moses, not reaching the end of it yet and it sits inside a small crib Not on a stand. Have yours moved out of a Moses yet?
Hi Ro!!!! Good to hear from you hun!!!! How's life with you. How's little Scott doing?
Charlie I reckon will be too big for his moses basket in about another month, and will be moving to his cotbed at around the 3month mark. Sad but true. I'm positive that he'll be ok though. We'll leave the door ajar, and the monitor will be onDFD February 2012

Hi Mimi! Great to see you. Hope LO is all rcovered now, and you are doing ok yourself.
I use the Ibaby app, which i think does about the same thing as your ESP. Its hand having it on the phone isnt it!
If t helps, i just bought a high chair on ebay- saved about £100, but it was alot more than the one you are looking at. If the price stays low enough go for it, but if they are on sale, its worth getting a new one if the price of the ebay goes up. Could you get cash back from the place it is on sale if you order on line?Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Need to pick your brains ladies!
I alternate between breast and bottle for Poppy. Really just wanted to breast fed but she is on a build up milk to help her gain weight so that was my compromise with the Doctor!
Anyway recently she has started to really fuss when I bottle fed her, crying and wriggling and she just seems unhappy even though she is hungry. She does suffer from reflux and is on gaviscon, ranitidine and domperidone and there is nothing else she can take. She is also sick after most feeds which is a pain but the Doctor isn't worried as she is gaining weight. Not sure what else I can do? Any ideas?
Thanks

For some reason i always forget to check in on here - my bad sorry! Am always on facebook lol
Yes - Amy is fine now thanks! shes moving into her big sisters room soonI'm good - had a brilliant argument with the doctors surgery earlier which resulted in me, the 2 kids, and my 2 year old niece holding a "stand off" and refusing to leave the surgery until I got my prescription :rotfl:
There is only one bidder - from their history they seem to be buying a lot of high chairs so i think they buy to resell so i doubt they would have bidded much more (esp as new ones are in the sale.....) am gonna bid nip it i think
Probably could get cashback but not much (Could justiy buying it off ebay for about £30 but will not go higher than that!)
Hope you are all ok? x0 -

Amy is terribly sick after every feed - but again, as she is gaining weight the doctors arent worried - To begin with i was, but its just how she is (I've gone flying into hysterics when shes been burped, I've laid her down and theres this volcano of sick come out, even came out of her nose once!)
I wouldnt worry too much about the sicky unless she starts losing weight x
As for other bit - No idea, sorry! x0 -

Thanks! The sickness is awful, Poppy's comes out of her nose every time! She doesn't seem to mind though! Its a pain when she's just been bathed and is in a clean babygrow! Not so worried about it, but feeding her when she is so wriggly and unsettled is hard work!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

My Lo has had reflux problems as well, but its getting better with using the cot wedge and sling, and ranitidine. She goes through phases of being really wriggly and unhappy during feeding, and with her, its down to having trapped wind. I have to take her off and give her a good burping before carrying on. She is having alot fewer problems that way, since i took her to the cranial osteopath, who has worked on all sorts of bits of her, including releasing something in her midsection, that has made it alot easier for her to burp!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!
