Hi Ro! How you doing hun? All good here. Had a great day in the sun. Had a braai (bbq) with friends. Charlie is well. The Aptimal is agreeing with him. Switched over from SMA Gold. Plus things are generally just better now. I'm more happy and settled since the birth, and that's made a huge difference
Tee hee Mozzy I know what a Braai is as used to have a sa friendsounds like your talking about a breed of pony though to others
we have always had Scott on aptamil as was told by a friend that it's closest to breast milk and SMA well u know blocks them up...! So glad that it's better for your LO too. Takes a bit (lot!) of adjustment this mothering lark and glad you are feeling a lot better. Ok over here although think something will be on the offing as Scott still dribbling which he has never done. Hubby hard at work for end of financial year so other than time to express I have him 24/7 at the mo as hubby needs his sleep!

Just got all sad thinking I'm back at work in August, and It's coming up so quick. I don't want to leave Charlie at a nursery so young! But have no choice really. Going to miss him so muchDitto Mozzy, I am due back in July when Lo is 6mo. Its so hard to think about isnt it! Looking forward to Tuesday. Going to try my snooze shade out, see if it helps LO nap on the walk like it did today.
One of my friends went back yesterday, it must be hard but I sure he will be ok once he settles and he will get spoilt rotten when mummy gets home xx still think a lottery win would be good for u though time for a lucky dip...0 -
Morning. Been awol, sorry Ro! Busy weekend as my best friend was visiting with her 5 week old. Really made my baby seem grown up at 11 weeks, there is so much more she is doing. Plus, it was like picking up a feather holding a 7lb something babe instead of a 10lb plus one!
Hmm, just heard wet farty noises from baby. Will be back after checking bum!
Glad u are all ok and the poo is better! Who needs weight lifting with a baby?!! Scott is deffo getting heavier by the second!
We have got him in some 3-6 clothing depending on the make :eek: in sleep suits we had to because his feet were getting squashed!! Xx0 -

Hi hon! The T word has hit my LO. Dribbling constant hand chewing, start of red cheeks. If you havent tried it, i recommend getting some nelsons teething powders. My LO loves them, and seems to help her sleep when she is fussing over it at night.
I've started doing some sleep training with LO, to help her get to sleep herself and self soothe, as till now its been sleep by boob, which is not sustainable as its knackering and if she doesnt sleep first off, then its hard cos shes already full of milk. Its day three today, and she went down in 10 minutes, compared to 45 on day 1!
She is also a whopper- over 7kg now, 64cm+ and nearly out of 3-6 month clothes. Eek!
How are you getting on?
Hello ! Oooh what make powders u got? No harm in being prepared! Well done on the sleep training. I have put in what is going on here main issue us have Scott 24/7 at the mo pretty much hence my mammoth catching up posts! Ro xx0 -

It wasn't so bad actually. Although I did park milage from where the baby trolleys were so after going to the other shops in the pram, getting the trolley and the pushchair back to the car so I could put the push chair away was a bit of a strugglebut we managed it.
I'm not getting on very well being a parent. I love my baby to bits but sometimes when he cries I feel like I could just throw him across the room - obviously I wouldn't...but I get annoyed. And I feel like everybody else gets to enjoy my baby and I don't because in the day when it's my turn to look after him I have to do all the other stuff so I rarely get time to sit down and talk to him, especially when he's awake. And on a weekend we're over his Nanny's (we live with my parents in the week and OH's parents on the weekend) and obviously they like to have lots of cuddles because they haven't seen him for a week. I feel like I hardly talk to my baby, and other people seem to talk loads to him. I don't feel like I've bonded with him and I found it really difficult to hear his Nan (MIL) say that she did skin to skin with him when she looked after him for the night a couple of weeks ago, because I don't even do that and that's what mothers should do, not grandparents (Imo). He's a lovely baby, but I just don't feel like he's mine.0 -
Fredula, getting annoyed by crying doesn't make you a bad parent in my opinion. I think it's totally normal x Is there any way you could get some help with the other things you have to do during the day, so you can put aside maybe even half an hour to play and talk to your LO?
I'm working from home today and Elliot just got a long commentary on equality and diversity and stress management as I had some online training to do... He then threw up all over one of our neighbours who popped in to say hello. Luckily she didn't mind0
