    Morning all,

Not been around for a while, been busy busy busy!

I have a question with regards to follow on milk. LO will be 6 months in two weeks and i'm just wondering if be gradually moving him onto the follow on milk or just do it straight away.
Also have read that it can sometimes cause problems with constipation to begin with which im a bit worried about!

I mixed the first few feeds as we were moving from aptamil comfort and i was worried about the effect on her tummy but she had no problems at all so I then just started giving her the follow on milk. In fact there have been some quite explosive nappies recently but I'm putting that down to her eating solids now.

P was sick last week but is on the mend now and we finally have a tooth:j She has also discovered her voice more and I couldn't get her to shut up today lol I'm loving this stage but it's also sad to see how much my baby has grown up recently:(

Hope everyone's keeping ok. I don't post much on here anymore but I do try and read through the thread when I get a chance to see how everyone is doing.

    Take care x

Hello Claire - glad to hear p is on the mend, I feel sad that my little one is growing up at 10 wks  ! He doesn't look newborn unless I dress him in too big sleep suits :o and even then am being optimistic.
Love your avatar by the way ! Interesting to hear about the milk side of things will have to store this info somewhere!

Funny thing is I think he is confused as he was talking to me like it wa daytime and went all quiet and confused when I dimmed the lights again!!! Oh well we all get confused sometimes!
Annoying thing is went to get bottle and the mini fridge seems warm so had to go downstairs for another bottle, seems like there is a problem :(

Yeah I got back to sleep just after 2, then was woken again around 4.30. Put her back down at 5 then she woke up after just 45 mins! Not happy. OH has taken her downstairs for a bit. No idea why she's so unsettled. She normally sleeps until about 6.30. Ho hum.

Morning all. Hope we have another day of enjoying the sunshine!

Jannine - glad to hear Poppy is doing so well. I think the HV get confused if babies aren't following those lines, but she was so early it's not surprising. If she's gaining and the doctor is happy that's all that matters.

Welcome Seren and thanks for the picture of little Ioan. He looks a cutie!

Sorry to those of you who've had a bad night, and I'm not wanting to rub it in, but Naomi slept just over 7 hours solid last night! First time ever :j. She had some sleep early on, then bath etc and took ages to feed and settle so didn't get down properly until 10, then woke me at about 5.20. Back down at 6 and still sleeping (I think, just got to go check on her but there's no sounds coming from her yet so will only be squiggling).

Busy day ahead with baby group, then visit to my parents, then off to one of my friends. Got to get back to pick DH up from work at 5.

Not sure what's happening here either... growth spurt/cold/something?! But we've had a week of 2.15 wake up calls. Last night I crawled into bed at quarter to 1, and was up again just after 2!

    Hello
Can I join you please? My baby boy was born March 11 weighing 8lb 4.
Not sure if any of you posted, but I was so terrified of giving birth I posted a thread about it and had some lovely comments. My birth was nothing like I hoped, in total it was 30 hours and the epidural was the best thing for me in the end. Aiden got stuck on the way out as he turned back to back so I had to have the ventouse, he then wasnt breathing when he came out so we had to stay in Hospital for a bit. I also had to be cut in 3 places which was my worst fear :( buuutt I did it in the end. And although I vowed I would never ever do it again, I think I probably would do :o

I dont come on the forum too often, but now by OH is back at work hopefully I have some time to chat to you lovely people.

My baby boy is doing great, he didnt lose any weight the first week :rotfl:he loves his milk so much that he gives himself hiccups.

He is struggling with constipation atm, all I have been told to do is give him water, which he has anyway. I've tried massaging his tum and doing the old bicycle legs but it doesnt seem to be helping him, does anyone have any tips?
