Hi everyone. Sorry i've not been online recently, but been having a tough time with PND. OH has had to take a 3rd week off work, but he has been brill. Dont know what I would have done without him to be honest. Have been on the citalopram for 8 days now and should start to feel the benifets next week hopefully. Amelie is doing great but took her to the gp earlier as she had been bleeding a bit from one of her nipples, which is all down to hormones thankfully. Dr even managed to squeeze some milk out:eek:
Hope everyone is doing ok xxxx:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

Hugs Lucy, hope you start to feel better soon!
That's fab news Jen, 11oz is amazing! Well done with the feeding, I am finding it very tiring as well so I can't even imagine how you're feeling!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Fredul, try not to act worried going in, and keep a feed handy.... Rose yowled until I got a bottle near her, then didn't seem to understand why everyone was fussing (though she has a one-track mind when it comes to food).0

Hey Lucy, sorry to hear that you have PND, I do too and it has been awful. I'm pleased to hear that you have a supportive OH as it really does make a difference. I hope you start to feel better soon, if you want to chat, PM me.0 -
Hi everyone just a quick drop by, Amy is doing brilliant, she will be 11 weeks on Saturday, She has been sleeping from 6:20pm - 6am for about a week now.
I've beenn using an App on my phone to keep her in a routine - It's called Baby ESP (Its Free) and its really good! (Well i think it is!)
I didnt give Amy calpol after her jabs, I'm one of those "dont give them medicine unless desperate" people (My sisters kids were never off the stuff and it really put me off!)
Lucy - I hope you start to feel better soon x
Those of you struggling to give calpol - a dormer is EXCELLENT! There are cheap ones in the pound shop - They look like this http://www.thisnext.com/item/6A9BDB0D/Munchkin-Baby-Medicine - Toys r us have them half price but slightly different http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-Us/Safety/Essential-Medical/Babies-R-Us-Medicine-Dispenser-Soother(0074137)?cm_mmc=Feed-_-Google%20Base-_-N%2FA-_-Babies%20%22R%22%20Us%20Medicine%20Dispenser%20Soother
There is also a Dummy thermometer in tesco which i thought was quite cool (Although very expensive for what it is - you wont be able to really use it if you are breast feeding or when you wean them off the dummy lol)
Hope you are all well xx0 -

Hey hun. Good to hear from you. Sorry things have been a bit rough for you. Can I ask - how did you know you had PND? I don't know if i've got it, or if its just stress. I've cried quite a lot since the birth. And gone through periods of thinking i'm not cut out for this. But I don't know if its just down to Charlie being a bit colicy. He cries and screams alot. And sometimes it just gets to me and by the time OH gets home, i'm crying my eyes out.
Other times I'll just be singing to him or something, and out of the blue, i'll start crying. But still not sure if its just down to tiredness and lack of sleep.
Anyway, hope the tablets start working soon hun, i've had them before, and they do take a few weeks to kick in xDFD February 2012
