Hello all x
Am usually off upstairs to bed for my kip from 9pm before early hours feeding but hubby not sure if getting a cold as he has a runny nose so sent him to bed. I confess this is the first time I could potentially be up between 9pm and 12pm thinking I will probably chicken out and if he sleeps sneak upstairs lol!
Smlsave- thanks for the tip! This is my first so can't offer any advice to u sorry!
Eyeliner- sounds like u might need to start moving your delicate stuff before it gets toppled!
Crabapple - I don't know how to post pictures properly, hence the link. With the iPhone I used snapseed app to bring up picture from my album then selected to post in flickr, then set up an ID for flicker by logging in using google, the picture was then uploaded and selected public to view etc, I copied and pasted link into my post and voila !
I think if you just set up an Id with Flickr upload your photo then copy and paste ur link them we can click on it. Hth !0 -
Cant believe jacob is almost 9 months now! Ill be going back to work in june and he is still bf throughout the day. Am very lucky that the nans will be looking after him so my master plan is to leave him with them for longer periods till he is used to a whole day. Does anyone with older children have any pearls of wisdom for me? I have an image of me on my first day back at work in tears answering the phone!
yes hun, have more kids it gets easir to leave them :rotfl: went back to work a couple of weeks ago now and although a little tuging on the heart strings its rather nice to hve my own identity back. samuel goes to his nans so i think that makes it easiernow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0 -

Hello!
Well Charlie is now waking every 2hrs for a feed. Yawn. This is meant to be a 2am feed. Doctor said to try give him cooled boiled water during the day if he gets fussy inbetween feeds. Will do that tomorrow. Have changed formula too, from STA Gold to Aptimal and am using colief and Infacol. Will see if he is any better with that.
Ro - sorry haven't posted pic yet. Was barely able to put him down yesterday! Hope all is good with you xDFD February 2012

Ugh Ro you're lucky! Amelia is showing no signs of going any longer between night feeds yet. I think this is the third one so far tonight... I'm lucky if she goes 2 hours, normally it's 1.5. Very tedious!
Hope everyone's sleeping now!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
4nnabells he could be just playing with me!! Like he is now! Think with bf it must be harder as they digest it quicker, am still doing bf first then ff but he can take 45mins to 2 hrs to feed !
Still up as keep putting him down then he wakes up!0 -
got a couple of questions and dont know where to find the answers.
how do i get the hospital to investigate why none of the scans in pregnancy identified Ellies heart condition? it should have been noticeable in the scans.
second question is
can i get my paid mat leave extended? if Ellie had been ill when i was back at work i would have got paid compassionate leave so can i claim anything now? I feel hard done by today lost over 20 days with my baby and she needs me home for longer now i feel to fix our bond which has been severed by not being able to stay with her in intesive care etc:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

I'm not sure hun, hopefully someone will be able to help. I was thinking about how you could get Ellie to put on weight, the only thing I could think of is to offer it every couple of hours like when they were newborn. She is such a strong girl that I'm sure she will start gaining soon now she is at home with you xxDD born 14/12/11

Kira, hope you had a nice anniversary yesterday! We had a curry delivered which was delicious
SmlSave, I'm back at work on Monday, Elliot will be 8 weeks and I'm still bf'ing. I'm feeling quite guilty about having to leave him, but DH will take over when I'm not there. Trying to express enough milk to keep him going with feeds. I've got two lectures on my first day back so will probably be too distracted to worry once I get going, but it is going to be really hard walking out the door on monday morning
Better news is there's allotments available locally! What veg did people start with for weaning?
Elliot is happy in his basket today only if I keep the mobile going... wishing it was a battery one instead of wind-up. Still, all this back and forwards to it must be good for weight loss....0
