Hello to all other proud new mummys too

Emmylou just pester your GP until you get what you know you need for him. Can you see a different GP at all? How is his weight at the moment?

If it helps any my LO didnt keep down a single feed until she was finally prescribed hypoallergenic formula but her weight and growth were strangely unaffected by this. She is till refusing all solids and at 9 months and almost 23lb she is growing and thriving on only 25oz of formula/day.

Mozzy- the Mommys Bliss gripe water i've been using, can be used from 2 weeks old, so you might be able to use it nearly straight away once you get it. I use half doses, and they seem to work fine.

I`ll try to see my GP 2moro, but i dont even think they will prescribe it, they`ll want me to go see the allergy people at the hosp. When I was pregnant the GP contacted the Allergy specialist and they said they would see me if I had any concerns once baby was born...hell yes I have concerns!! If not then i`ll ask to see someone else at the surgery and hope they will just give me some until the hosp app comes thru He was 8lb14oz at birth on the Saturday, down to 8lb11oz by Wed, and will be weighed again 2moro. Midwife is out at lunchtime, but obviously she cant really do alot other than advise me tosee the Dr!

Wow, cant belive ur lil one survives on so little formula! Is it Nutramagin? My DD3 had that, but it was sooooo thin, she was starving 2 hours after an 8oz bottle at 2 weeks old! xx

my LO is prescribed neocate as she did not get on too well with nutramigen. It still amazes me that she is so huge with so little dietary intake! She has also outgrown her first car seat!

Aww bless her, how old is she now?
My DD3 grew so well and got on fine with nutramigen, she was too big for her car seat at 6 months! We had to wedge her into the thing!!! xx

Ro Shame our poor pets hey. I'm trying to let my cats now know that chasing each other up and down the stairs whilst baby is sleeping is not allowed haha. Poor things used to get away with anything, but no more haha.
My swaddleme hasn't arrived yet. But as soon as it does, I'll be giving it a go.
Yes I have that book! Must start reading it again. Might put it in the bathroom haha x

janine my hubby is deaf in one ear and im impaired in one ear, sometimes we end up shouting at each other but other than that its fine, we both have jobs we have children with no hearing difficulties.
try not to worry so much hun. x

Just managed to get littlun down after one serious night of cluster feeding (and day, and afternoon..its a wonder the boobage atea is still in one piece!! :rotfl:) Hopefully he'll let me sleep for a few hours!! Accck no such luck hes stirring!! Boo!
