Kira Thanks for the info re the gripe water. As soon as he's a month old (i think that's how old he has to be is it) will give that a go. Definitely worth a try! :)
ps - are you on the facebook group? Not sure if your not there or if I'm just missing you!

WW Thank-you! Will do some reading on the 4th trimester. So reassuring to know its just a phase!

Ro Well another week alone with Charlie lies ahead. So might try some new routines to try get him to sleep during the day this week. Have ordered a swaddleme so might give that a go for day time naps. I think I've still got a lot to learn.
Maybe its worth getting one of these books out there and giving some if those methods a go.

Poor Scott getting his sleep interupted bless! You must post an updated pic when you can! I must do the peak thing more often, coz he does actually sleep then. I've got a park up the road that I can walk to. Just got to get motivated! x
    Hugs! :)

    Ro xx

I thought it was time to give it a go while I still have a couple of packs of disposables left to mix in. :D Think I have a couple of 3s left and a couple of 4s.

Anyone with little girls who wants to try it without too much outlay, the ebay seller I got mine from is clearing out some excess pink ones, £20 for 10. There's 4 lots left at the moment.

Yesterday I was trying Totsbots, today I'm trying my first of the Ebay ones. They do look sweet :)

Really glad you are home now Jenjade xx

To answer above q reagrding how I dress Jess, In the day she has a grow( she is only 7 weeks so still a bit young for loads of diff outfits) at night I have 0-3 mth pjs, I def prefer her having pj bottoms on at night as it makes nappy changing at night easier, literally just pull of pj bottoms and undo vest poppers change nappy and do her up, a baby grow took too long to popper up after a night change and i'd have a crying jess on bed as she hates nappy time.

hope everyone well, I'm writing a list of things to do this week, more like a wish list lol!!! xxxxxx

Hi hon. So pleased you are both back home!
Cj was 9lb-7 st birth, 10lb-5 at 12days and when she was last measured, at 5 weeks 12lb6. She is 91st centile though, hence already in 3-6m clothes at 2months.

    Hi everyone :)

I'm moving over from the pregnancy thread after having Ava on Friday :) She's totally wonderful and i can't stop looking at her.

I had a quick question though if anyone has any thoughts...MW came yesterday and said i need to up her feeds (booby juice) to every 2-2.5 hours daily and 3-4 night. This worked good all day yesterday but last night she just wanted the boob ALL the time, she went from one to the other and just wouldn't settle. All the signs seem to be good, she's latching well, taking deep swallows and puffing her cheeks out so I'm assuming she's taking a good feed. I just don't feel very supported in doing this, i can see why people give up and i really don't want to especially as i'm so close to my real milk supply coming in. If anyone can offer any advice i'd really appreciate it.

    thanks in advance!

    Hey! Congratulations!!
Sounds like everything is on track from what you describe. Your milk probably hasnt fully come in yet, so Ava is prob feeding more often to get what she needs which perfectly normal. All i can advise is keep with it, drink plenty and rest up. Your milk will come, so feed as she requires. There will be growth spurts as well when she wants more. It can be hard going but it gets easier. Just make a note of how many wees she does as that's the first sign if there are problems. Don't feel alone. We are here to help!
