Jannine.. I felt the same after DS3 who was 2 months early.. in SCBU 3 weeks .. I advise you talk to everyone about it.. see if you can get a follow up appointment with your midwife or consultant about what happened and get some closure.. don't just let it stew.. you can't go back and change things but you can accept the way things are.. it is so hard being thankful your baby is alive and doing well and greiving for what you don't/didn't/can't have.

Jenjade. Hope Ellie makes a fast recovery.

Ro. Hope your appointment comes through quickly for Scott and its nothing serious.

Thanks for advice RE HV. Going to ring Monday and tell her we'll just go to the baby clinic from now on.

If anyones interested, Home Bargains today had Thermos Foogo sippy cups (pink ones only in ours) for £1.99. Seen them in boots before and though they were expensive, but they're really nice for the HB price. They also had SMA gold sachets for £1.99 and SMA Hungry Baby 900g tins for £5.99.

Wishing a speedy recovery for Ellie xx ((big hugs)) jenjade
  • OK, has anyone started their baby on pureed food yet?

The reason I ask is Jack had some carrots and potatoes for the last couple of nights and this morning he's very farty! Doesn't seem to be bothering him right enough, but it bloomin stinks.

He seems to like it though, gave him 1/3 of the jar because I didn't want to give him too much, and then tried to give him a couple of oz of milk and he refused the milk full stop. Ended up polishing off 2/3 of the jar.

Hello everyone. Posting to say Amelie grace was born Monday morning,6 days late. She weighed a teeny 5 pounds 15 oz and is just adorable with a thick mop of dark hair.

    Hope everyone is well xxxx
