Hi Ro! Hope all is well with you. Shame, just had to change Charlie's clothing and bedding. My little man sweats on his back quite badly some nights poor thing.

Hello Mozzy !!! Xx just changed Scott unfortately he has weed up his back now on to bottle. We are switching to size 2 pampers and have to make sure on properly. Being a bit dumb but has ur LO got fleece blanket or something that is making him hot? Scott kicks his covers off lol!!

Hi! No, he sleeps in a long sleeved bodysuit, 1.5tog sleepbag, window is ajar, and our fan is on. I think he's just a sweater x

Sorry will catch up later as is chaotic here as usual just now! :rotfl: Just checking in quickly to say that the limits on infant gaviscon are due to its salt content as it is made from seaweed. It may be worth double checking what level is safe for babys size with the prescribing doctor Gilly.

Baby slept last night :j. Two runs of about eight hours and settled almost straight away after the feed and change in the middle. I am so happy!! She's asleep now after going down again about 6 but usually wakes for feed about 8.30 to 9 so I've got a moment to myself. Taking her up to my work later today so they can all coo over her.

Thinking of jenjade and ellie today as well.

Pigpen, got a great deal of admiration for anyone who can handle that many! One may well be enough for me! (Although... I know it's still a bit early for me to forget the sleepless nights as we are in the midst of that, I have already decided I could do birth again although haven't told DH yet;)). Dot does have amazing blue eyes, so cute! And squeak is gorgeous too of course!

Hes only just gone off now because hes having a bit of skin to skin with mummy and hes not properly slept since 2!! Oh wait spoke too soon!!

An hour later....well he woke up, fed properly for a little while, then like the past 2 days got extremely fussy and just wont latch for any period of time
Even after a successful latch he is still going for his hands and cueing for a feed. I don't know if hes just using me for comfort and I should try a dummy....he's just been so good so far and we were getting a little routine going.
Now mummys only had 2hrs sleep and doesnt know whats going on!

Afternoon all x
Had 6 week check this morning, feeling very shocked and upset so just venting on here.
Gp says Scott has a slight heart murmur, told us not to worry but need to be referred to paed for checks. As you can imagine very difficult not to worry, don't know how long for appt for trace could be few weeks Gp did not know.
Everything else ok with him. Just don't want him to have any problems but can see we are going to stress no matter what...

I've got a warm little one too, even when I hold him he gets hot, I have to keep moving position. Just took him out of his pram, he was cool on top, and sweltering underneath!

Had my 6 week check today (late!)... what a waste of time. Took my blood pressure, offered me the pill, asked if I had any problems. He didn't want to look at my stitches or my stomach. I said I'd been having some shooting pains in my breasts and was worried it could be thrush, he said it wasn't without looking at me or in the baby's mouth.

Ro, that is worrying, hope you hear from them soon. No-one's checked my baby's heart yet, guess that comes at the next appointment? Why they can't do it all together I don't know?

Fingers crossed for Jen and Ellie, hope it goes as well as possible.

Gp just listened to his heart as part of the routine 6 week check and both me and LO had our 6 week checks together which seems more sensible. Was glad had hubby with me though as he could look after LO. Presumably yo have your lo's 6 week check already booked.
