Is the link (I wanted to see if I could make a link from my phone), I will get my DH to donate as I don't qualify for gift aid.
I struggled to get out of bed and dressed today, as the health visitor was due at 9.15, after finally getting dressed and downstairs waiting, she rang me to say she wouldn't be able to make it today. I'm trying to decide whether we should go back to bed or try to stay awake. Sebs thrush seems to be getting better, he does make very funny faces when he has the medicine. Wouldn't milk flavour be more suitable than cherry?
Hugs and sleep vibes to all that need them!:ANeeding to save all the money, lots of MSE learning still to do

Glad to hear Ellie is fighting hard, hope you get another slot soon!
Finally got Jack to change bed last night, he's now in the crib, and he slept all night cuddling Pooh bear. It's strange, he seems to need the teddy when he's in the crib, but when he was in the moses basket, it got chucked out.
Hopefully this is the end of finding things in his bed that shouldn't be there. The basket was too close to the bed, and anything that was within touching distance was stashed down the side of the basket. The other night he shouted through the monitor, I went through and he had one of his cardigans over his head wanting to play peek a boo!
Apparently I wasn't feeding him fast enough this morning (i.e. I wasn't pouring the porridge down his throat), so he took it upon himself to grab the end of the spoon and try and push it and my hand into his mouth quicker."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Thanks, well hes on 0.5mls 3 times a day which will obv increase with his weight. We actually had a decent night last night which I assume is because of that. He was unsettled for 3 hours rather than 8 and whinged rather than screamed. We're still giving him the gaviscon too.The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
I found we didn't need to give the Gaviscon for much longer once he was on the Ranitidine. Glad he's had a better night. We had to give the same amounts but to be honest I only did it morning and night and that was enough for Leo. Really hope it works for you xLeo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0

OK, did anyone's LO have a rash after their imms? Jack had his second dose yesterday and today he's brighter than he's been in days (full of the cold since Sun), but has a rash on his chest. He seems OK apart from that and it doesn't seem to be bothering him. He's currently dancing to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so I'm not that worried."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Glad you had a good night Gilly
Eyelinerprincess so long as any rash passes the glass test and my little girl is still happy I tend not to bother about them too much. Not sure if there is a link to immunisation as she was constantly covered in rashes and eczema until she was taken off cows milk formula.
Carmilla glad the thrush is improving
Aimless although the symptoms appear to come and go the actual reflux itself is constant. I dont know how to describe it exactly but reflux causes a very distinct breath smell if that helps you any. Weird as it sounds have a sniff at your little ones breath and you will be able to tell.
WonderWomble those symptoms along with chronic dirrhea were my daughters main issues. The consultant seemed pretty shocked that it had taken so long for her to be referred, seen, and treated.Dairy intolerance runs in my DH's family if it does in yours or your OH's family then unfortunately there is a chance that this is the problem.
Jenjade I will go to the just giving site as soon as my 3 year old returns my bank card...he is holding it hostage until I agree that I will get him a ps vita like his brother got. :rotfl:
How do I manage to peruade the HV that getting to play with her food, spoons and plates is simply not going to convince my daughter to eat? So far this morning I have had to clean her food off of the floor, the walls, cupboards, and a pile of clean laundry that I forgot to put back into the utility room. I also had to have a shower as she managed to hit the suction bowl so hard with her spoon that it flipped off of her highchair tray and emptied all over me! :rotfl:0 -
Hi Ladies
This may seem like a stupid question, but is it normal for a newborn to cry constantly. Every waking minute, if he's not eating or napping, he's screaming and crying. He never just lies there awake, and I'm in tears thinking we're doing something wrong. He only settles once fed again. I just don't know why he's crying or how to console himDFD February 2012

Mine cried constantly mozzy but there was a reason for that. How is he feeding? Does he take his feeds well or is writhing about, arching back etc? Hes only little yet though and generally not awake for long periods of time so when he is awake is he just hungry? I know with A he still isnt awake much. Its pretty much awake and crying, feed him, change his bum, rock him, sleep. Then it starts all over again. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
