Oh God we've had enough wee wee incidents any time we've tried huggies. Pampers all the way for us. The comfort milk means his poos are already really soft so I think the water just makes it worse :rotfl:

Agreed on the pampers, I think the record here was five outfit changes in one day. LO had dia woo woo, huggies just leaked with every bottom burp (and more). Quickly went a bought some Pampers - ta dahh - no leaks. I do have huggies to use though :(, I won vouchers before she was born, so wouldnt be very MSE to not use them. I think the Superdry huggies are better than the organic newborn ones - i just found them useless, I have no idea how, whilst holding her, she was able to pee up her back?

No idea Crabapple. From what Ive been told infacol is good for burpy wind and colief is good for bottom wind. We have bad cases of both here.
They can both take up to a week to get into the system though.

That does help, thanks. She has very little wind up top but a load in the guts - we hear her rumbling and farting regularly but much worse in the eves.

It's not that easy to get the colief in her though as she has only been bf and struggled to take some expressed with the drops in from either a spoon or tiny cup. Guess I'll persevere with that and have now bought a hand pump which will at least help get the milk out of me, if not into her!

And another vote for pampers here, although Mr T's own brand don't seem too bad on her. When the poos come they tend to be a lake and if we only get a little out of a leg hole it's a win!

No idea how they can wee up their backs while upright either:rotfl:

Apparently breast fed babies have much worse bottom wind, well thats what midwife told me. I'd get a sterile syringe and syringe it in being honest. So much easier than messing about with a spoon etc.

I'm with Gilly on the syringe. I know Asda at their pharmacy bit will sell you a small syringe for a baby. Only a couple of pence too :p

Mr T and Mr A nappies aren't too bad, i heard somewhere that Lidl nappies are quite good too?

Hadn't thought of a syringe, thanks. Should be able to get one from the pharmacy later.

First washable nappy is now on baby so we'll see how that works. She does appear to have a massive backside - just like her mummy:rotfl:

Good luck crabapple with the reusable Nappy we have tried one and we will probably wait until spring as we cannot face any more washing ( the one nappy sat in a bin for a week as could not face washing it)

    Short moan (ok long one)
This is the fourth time I have written this post blinkin iPhone keeps deleting it
Dylan has barfed on the rug
He has also decided to dig every inch of the garden he has also been eating a clematis unsurprisingly he has barfed whilst trailing mud into the house:eek:
Yesterday my ex bosses came to visit it was just before lunchtime and I answered the door in my nightie and a coat over the top thinking it was the postman (don't even go there she's female for a start....)
They brought tulips which was lovely
Just stressing as we have loads of people that need to come and visit some of whom i put off because of my back they now really need to come and the mother-in-law today was suggesting that I should not keep her grandson away from her jokily I hope:eek:
Need to tidy the house but cant need some mf cleaning fairies...

Hope Mozzy is doing ok will have to keep checking preg thread

Hello all excuse my foul mood lol

Also I would really like to wear a considered outfit instead of what I can find on the floor...
Does anyone know where the other new nursing bra is I have bloody lost it already

Also decided will make an album for late birthday present for dad, oh printed them but the ink was clearly not right and wished he'd just changed the cartridge have put them in the album and they look most unprofessional now shall I ask him to do them again??? Mmmm

I have put Dylan back in the garden and I daren't look at what he's doing....

Oooh I feel better now sorry if I never make sense as don't use the net book and this phone substitutes words which can be rather fun sometimes...

And another thing what is the f point in being organised buying birthday cards in one go for tellies and then hiding them somewhere stupid...

See I buy birthday cards for tellies can anyone hear the men in white coats lol

Ro, sorry! I've had to clear up cat barf today so I can sympathise some, but they don't tend to dig up the garden. They do bring small animals in from outside and dismember them in the living room though... none recently but I probably shouldn't say that as it will be tempting fate!

Hope your back gets better soon, and good luck with the visitors. I am so happy today that no-one is coming! My parents have gone to annoy.. er, I mean visit, my brother for a few days so I don't have the near daily visit from my mum until monday :j

I think everyone I know has now seen me wearing one or other pair of my pyjama bottoms (either zebra or leopard print!), my slippers, and my nursing tops with easy access... Perhaps one day soon I will wear a proper outfit, but then nothing seems to fit at the mo - maternity clothes too big but jellybelly does not go into my normal trousers!

Oh, and if you find those cleaning fairies Ro, please send them round to me when you are done!

Can anyone recommend a sling for around the house? I'm particularly looking for ones suitable for the larger lady, so any help would be great.
