I have the moby sling and the ergo baby sling carmilla. The moby is just a huge length of fabric that you wrap round yourself, i found it the best round the house as my jacob likes to see what is going on :-) but i find the ergo better for my back and easier to put on in a hurry.

Do you have a sling libary near you? Then you could try a few

Well we braved it, currently sitting in costa with OH and LO. He's being fed at the moment and isnt screaming his head off so its a start. Midwife came and agreed with me to stop the expressing, she said she visited a woman in the morning whos babys wind/reflux cleared up when she stopped giving breast milk. I'm so sad that thats it for breast feeding (until next time ) but I do feel at peace with my decision. Went out and bought more dr brown bottles and will persevere with those.

That must have been a very difficult decision to make Gilly, but you have to do what is best for all of you. You have done so well to get this far with the expressing and Aaron will continue to thrive either way. Hopefully the wind will calm down now.

The health visitor came round earlier, Amelia is now up to 8lb 8.5oz, so has put on over 1lb since birth which is good. I seem to have had a slight backwards step in my ability to get her latched on properly though as my nipples are soooo sore again now when I feed her! It's mainly my left one though, but it really hurts!

Carmilla have a babasling does not do my neck back good and have big bosooms so he lies in it funny lol

Thanks annabella and ro, it was a difficult decision but I have to think about us all and OH is snowed under with uni wprk his dissertation is due in, in less than a month and him getting his degree is beneficial to us as a family. My boobs are rock solid now, not expressed since 4am so will give them a quick 5 minutes each side now. Hopefully on fully comfort formula and these bottles itl help calm him down, although not a fan of the green explosive poos caused by the comfort milk but apparently thats normal :eek:

I couldnt find any before and asked in asda about it.

Apparently the company that make it sold it to another company. The new company dont have a license to sell it yet and are in the process of applying. So unless you find anywhere that has stock left you wont be able to get any according to the phamacist at asda. I managed to get 4 bottles online - who knows when we will be able to buy it instore again!!
