Aaron has hiccups a lot but they don't seem to bother him at all, he just lays there, hiccuping away, bless him.

Koalamummy 18 months!? Oh lord, I don't think I could cope with that!

I know at some point it'll end but right now if feels so difficult.
During the morning she is always really cheery and playful and then it just goes downhill.

Just gotta focus on the happy times I guess.

Well that's my little man registered :D he's an official person now!

Never again will Mummy moan to get out, was in town less than an hour and I am in agony. :o

My first trip out was to Asda- it hurt like hell to walk, but for some reason was unbearable if I stood still... So going down all the aisles I was grabbing things and throwing in the trolley, while DH stopped to compare prices, and I'd have to remind him there was no way I was stopping!
By the time we reached the tills I felt like crying!

Ended up with a weird selection of items in that shop!

Sandy if it is colic that your LO has have you considered a chricopractor? We went for my DD and it seems to have helped, so far this week we have had three evenings without much crying. Going again tomorrow for the third time and think it will be our last. It's hard to tell if the colic has eased because of seeing the chricopractor or she is just growing out of it.

Well, my little man is 8days old today. :)

One thing I have noticed. He gets hiccups an awful lot, and they can last up to 20minutes. Is there anything I can do to relieve them?

Redhead, my daughter was getting hiccups after every feed and was also a little unsettled in the evening (a bit colicky?). Started giving her Infacol before each feed and the hiccups have stopped (gets them once every few days now rather than 5 times a day!)

Lauralou. Did you get referred to the chiropractor or did you go to one yourself? What do they do with the LO?

Sandy - i went myself, you could maybe try and get referred but i didn't mind paying if it was going to help DD. She just messages/put her hands round her head/neck and stomach. She said she had tightening round her neck and sorted that.

Hi my baby is now 9 days old and I'm still feeling the baby blues and was wondering if its normal,I'm completely in love with her and she is really quiet, breastfeeding is great and I'm getting good enough sleep I just feel a overwhelming sadness on and off all day,I think that finding out I was pregnant on the same day my dad died isn't helping but I see her as my dads leaving present to me which some people may think a little strange but it helps me as I was trying to get pregnant for a while and it wasnt happening,so does anybody know how long the blues could last for, thanks

    Lots of hugs Hun x
It sounds like you have had such a tough time losing your dad and looking after LO is tough on its own. If you are feeling so down then you perhaps should see your Gp and reach out to your family/friends or counsellor for support. Things will get better x

Hi everyone :-) jacob is getting braver with his walking and tries to let go all the time now so im finding hard to get out and about as he does not want to sit still!

My baby blues lasted for almost a month thegreenroom. I think i cried more in those weeks than in the last 10yrs. I also had a few thoughts of hurting my baby which was terrible. I told my oh everything and as jacob started to sleep more, i started ti cope better. Now if i have a bad night i get my mum to take jacob for a walk and get some sleep.
Make sure you talk about what is happening hun and see your hv or dr if you are worried. 3 out of 8 of my nct lot are on pills to help them so it is not unusual to need help.

I have a blocked duct, any ideas how to get rid of it? Im feeding as much as i can but it hurts!

Try a heat pack or hot compress on it for a while, then gently massage it, drone the outside towards the nipple, then feed from that boob.
