I understand the need for time to yourself.
I am going to get barred from this thread soon but anyway.....for the second night running I am going to ask another poster if they think their baby maybe has reflux? Sorry it is just how you are describing things just sounds very like my experience of it with my younger son.0 -
Quite possibly koalamummy. Not sure though going back to the doctors. I think possibly reflux or colic. She is fine in the day though feeds okay happy sleeps fine not sick. Only evenings and sometimes first thing that are a problem.
Thanks for letting me rant feel a bit better ;-):j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

I'd nip this in the bud now Kira. It's unfair and you need to point it out if he can't realise what he's doing is selfish, especially with Claudia being so young.
Anyone else surviving on toast and cereal at the moment? Even after all my batch cooking, between us me and OH can't find time to stick on potatoes or pasta! Nightmare.
You get toast?I've had days where I don't get breakfast till lunchtime, and only then if I put him down to yell. He also seems to have a built in 'Mum's eating' alarm, and always wakes up as soon as I sit down with a sandwich.
Lanky teen will watch him for me, but he's too heavy and new really for them to pick him up, so restricted really to talking to him and making sure he doesn't roll off places. We're having lots of ready meals or beans on toast at the mo, I was most impressed the other day when we managed a couple of boiled eggs with the beans.
Jenjade, mine doesn't sick on my sheets (his own are another matter!), he wees on them! I ought to change him elsewhere, but the bed is the only place I don't have to bend too much.0 -

On a lighter note, DH and i were discussing what colour eyes we think lo will end up with. Found this cool thing online. You need to know the eye colours for both sets of gparents and any siblings of yours.

Hi my baby is now 9 days old and I'm still feeling the baby blues and was wondering if its normal,I'm completely in love with her and she is really quiet, breastfeeding is great and I'm getting good enough sleep I just feel a overwhelming sadness on and off all day,I think that finding out I was pregnant on the same day my dad died isn't helping but I see her as my dads leaving present to me which some people may think a little strange but it helps me as I was trying to get pregnant for a while and it wasnt happening,so does anybody know how long the blues could last for,thanksDD1 27/5/1992

Annoyed today
I feel bad moaning about OH because he has been so great but this morning has annoyed me. I've not seen the outside of the house since I got out of hospital and I'm starting to feel a bit cooped up. We had planned to go into town this morning to register little one, and to pick up a few things (mainly toiletries for me) but we also needed vari flow teats as we have got comfort milk for Aaron as I think he's becoming colic-y already, he's screamed for hours at a time for the past 2 nights. So I got up this morning, got myself ready, got Aaron ready and settled (he sleeps great between 8.30 and 12) expressed milk the lot, while OH slept, now he knew I was doing all this, then I say to him "are you getting up" and his reply "no I'm tired, we'l just do it another day"
Is it too much to ask to want to get out the house for an hourI'm so home sick at the moment every time I think about it I cry, OH has been out, into town a few times to pick things up for us, and he's been out at uni, whereas I'm stuck here! I'm so down at the moment and I know I shouldn't be because I've got this beautiful baby, but sometimes when he cries, I want to just stick my head under a pillow

Gilly I know it may seem a bit terrifying just now but just go yourself. It will do lots for your self esteem and your mood. Just remember to keep breathing....the first time I took my oldest out I had to reminding myself to do that as I was constantly holding my breath :rotfl:0
