i watched the nurse giving him injections once and asked why he just smiled at her, her reply was " if pain is all they know then its normal for them and they are used to it, thats why he smiles at me"
broke my heart to hear that.
That is so sad brought tears to my eyes0 -

personally i would take the sweep , when your in labour they have to do a similar thing to check how diltated you are anyway.x
goodluck. x

Thanks for advice re bf Caroline
Gilly u will be ok, yes it's a bit :0 but good that easing u in gently before full day, when hubby went back last Thursday he leaves at 6:50am comes back at 4:50 and it seemed like forever and add dylan into the equation it was scary but u get through it but it is knackering!
Lirin you make me laugh I brushed my hair at bedtime 2 days in a row, it's funny what things become non essentials !
Hv was very nice she said u seem calm :rotfl::rotfl::eek: he has put on more weight but will be getting him weighed again next week, Scott tried to to cheat by adding his wee into the scales!!
One thing though had not really looked at red book properly but it's a girls one as the charts are for them blooming hospital ! So it needs to b sorted out!

I get it randomly and had it today, absolutely kills. Not sure if its boob filling up or something else? Was after a half-feed today (Ella had a mass poo clearout mid feed!) and went on for about half an hour, expressed an ounce to see if that would help, can still feel it but not half as painful as it was earlier.
I have had this. Didn't know what it was. Sometimes however the feeling is because LO has gummed her scratchmits off and is poking her little nails in my boob. Generally the feeling (when not her fingers) is while I am feeding not randomly so I wasn't concerned.
Am shattered today despite having quite a good night. DH is feeling poorly too, so we are planning family nap time for when he gets back. If little madam will sleep, that is.
My mum has offered to help out with housework tomorrow when she comes over as my aunt is coming on friday and she is very particular, as mum reminded me. I'm torn between accepting the help and being offended! Doesn't help that my aunt has always lived alone and has a minimalist house with cream carpets and white furniture, whilst me and DH have a house full of random bits and bobs, mismatched furniture, and curiosities in every corner. Not to mention the five cats and the fur collection they leave behind them:rotfl::heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls
