Morocha - if you want to breast feed ignore the midwife if she is being a pain & ring maternity ward or health visitor for help or breast feeding help people. I guess expressing would help your milk come? Have you still got colostrum at the moment?

Morocha - sorry, I thought you wanted to go with formula and mw was forcing bfing stuff on you, I got the wrong end of the stick. As moneypenny said try callng your health visiting team or this website might be helpful http://www.laleche.org.uk/. Also most sure start centres hold regular bfing cafes with bfing advisors so might be worth trying there too. Good luck!

Gilly - love the pics!

We're doing cc again, although he's not crying as long as I put his dummy in - this is the 4th time I've been up to do it. I think we're going to have to go cold turkey with it tonight - no dummy at all - as I'm getting up just as much now as I was when I was feeding him all night! Feel bad taking away something that gives him comfort but hopefully he'll just transfer to sucking his comforter instead.
