Morocha - if you want to breast feed ignore the midwife if she is being a pain & ring maternity ward or health visitor for help or breast feeding help people. I guess expressing would help your milk come? Have you still got colostrum at the moment?0

Anyway Hello, been so busy and then so knackered with all the Birthday shenanigans. We had a lovely 2 days, but v busy. Went out for lunch yesterday and he was running around the restaurant like a good 'un. Boy is wild. I've finally caved in and going to buy a safety gate tomorrow as I cannot trust my OH to keep the bathroom door shut and now he's learned to lift the toilet seat up, I'm sick of things being thrown down the bog.
And then train OH to remember to shut the gate
I'm glad we got ours up early actually, gave me time to train the menfolk before it became vital0 -
Sunshine - hope he goes off to nursery ok today after his time off.
Morocha - sorry, I thought you wanted to go with formula and mw was forcing bfing stuff on you, I got the wrong end of the stick. As moneypenny said try callng your health visiting team or this website might be helpful http://www.laleche.org.uk/. Also most sure start centres hold regular bfing cafes with bfing advisors so might be worth trying there too. Good luck!
Gilly - love the pics!
We're doing cc again, although he's not crying as long as I put his dummy in - this is the 4th time I've been up to do it. I think we're going to have to go cold turkey with it tonight - no dummy at all - as I'm getting up just as much now as I was when I was feeding him all night! Feel bad taking away something that gives him comfort but hopefully he'll just transfer to sucking his comforter instead.Newborn thread member
