Moneypenny... Dewi demolishes 3oz bottles. He had his first nearly 2 weeks ago I think (before he was 4 weeks I'm sure). That's 3oz of boobie juice which was always followed by 10/15 min of straight from boobie.

    Freddie is delightful ^^

:jI love Ewan! Let us know how you get on. Quick tip: if she isn't fussed about that red light that he emits (my LO wasn't), switch it off - it drains the batteries really quickly :o

We don't have Ewan (we have a light show that does sea sounds and a musical moon thing that plays a loop of Mozart that if I never hear it again in my entire life won't be too soon...) - but another top tip - if you hear funny clicking or beeping noises in your baby's room that you can't find the source of... check the batteries in the musical thing BEFORE waking the baby up to really ransack the room looking for it at 3am! (Yes we spent 2 hours looking for a ticking noise before enlightenment dawned)

Just bought a buggy lock - children's centre is trying to get people to use the buggy park outside (I'm allowed not to at the moment cos I can't carry Erin far though) - but no way am I leaving £600 worth of double buggy out there without some form of security so figured since I was going nuts on Amazon tonight anyway (double raincover for the cheapo buggy, memory card for my phone etc) I may as well order one.

As for jumpers - Erin got bought one for Christmas that I swear looks exactly like the graphics used to look in those Pages from Ceefax pages that were on TV at 2am!

Here he is looking guilty because he kept trying to wriggle under the sofa and I kept catching him!

After the guilty face he tried to deflect my attention with a smile instead!

We've had a little flurry of newbies on here - are any of you interested in joining a fb group? There's a mix of new mummies and some more experienced mums too. Pm me if you are interested :)
  • Love all the photos!!! You have gorgeous little people!

    I'm tempted to get a Ewan !

Thanks for info on bottle feeding. The mam bottles were bought on your recommendation gilly as was the steriliser! It stayed down hurrah! Willy try again with a mam bottle in a day or two see how she goes. Thanks for the help! :)

Now for another breast feeding question! Flutter sucks at the end of the feed- health visitor said they were when baby reaches the hind milk - I've read it's when they start to comfort suck - which is right? If its the hind milk, how long should she be sucking for? If its comfort sucking should I be taking her off? Confused and conflicting advice !

Turtle that pic of Reuben on his changing mat made me actually giggle out loud! Such a cute expression!

Well we've done 2naps today without a dummy in preparation for tonight, first one took 35 minutes of screaming for him to go off, second only 7 minutes so hopefully it won't take too many tries before he gets the hang of it. Fingers crossed :o. I'm so used to feeling knackered now I can't imagine what it'll be like when he does actually sleep through! I think the dummies are going to have to go in the bin though, then I can't get desperate at 3am when he's going barmy...

it's because he's naked, he loves being in the nuddy pants. Looking forward to summer and finally having a garden - he'll be able to run around out there with his pecker out to his little heart's content :D
