Lol, ladies, do you not pull out a few ready before you reveal the awful nappy? :D I always put some ready if I know it's a pooey one, then stuff back in what I don't need.

I do, but then I always seem to need a couple more... :o And I don't like stuffing them back in as it looks so messy, so I'd rather pull out fewer than I think I'm going to need... Hmmm, that does sound a bit OCD, doesn't it? :p

No cos then the baby tries to "help" and eats 'em - or kicks the wipe packet I've carefully lined up onto the floor.

hi ya, it is time to join. Jade Suki was born on FRiday 25th January, 7lb 1 1/2oz. 53 cm. Arrived at 1 and had her at 3.20. She pooed insine me, so had to have lots of checks and stayed in that day although i was an i am feeling pretty good.

It was quick and still shock. She's sleeping a bit but she is suffering with wind so moans and cries, yesterday was her first night at home. an only got up to be fed twice but took long time to settle her cos her tummy kept making noises. i tried rubbing her back and tummy, patting her back but while she fees, suddenly she groans and cries. I am BF.

    Hi!! And congratulations!

  • congrats morocha :) lovely name! that is one quick birth! How exciting! Can't help very much with the wind problems I'm sorry. When they are 4 weeks they can have gripe water which helps wind but that isn't much help to you right now :/

New breast feeding position seems to be going OK - managed to feed her under our cover using it (which the little one loves to throw her arms about nearly exposing me multiple times!) both sides still a bit sore but I'm assuming its from the new position so my old friend Lanisoh is back with me :) Thanks for the support on here :) Milk blister no better so off to the GP this week to have it burst *insert eek face!* - hopefully he will agree to burst it anyway, the BF people's advice was essentially "don't worry unless it gets infected then you can have antibiotics" - surely more sensible to prevent it getting infected?! What do I know :)

Lots of unexplained crying here when miss is awake but as we are coming up for 6 weeks I read in my baby book (the oracle!) that crying peaks at 6 weeks (ha!) so I'm hoping that is true! Also lots of feeding going on so perhaps a wee growth spurt!

    Hope all are well :)

I keep some packaging handy for when she wants to 'help'. I've got an empty packet of wipes, some cotton wool wrapping (with lovely little strings on it) and - the creme de la creme - a Pampers plastic bag that used to contain nappies :D
