Hiya everyone, hugs to sunshine, sure it'll all work out, you're in the right place. Poor thing though it must be awful, have you got someone with you?

I have had a lovely day, snow not too bad here (although Asda cancelled my delivery cos of it :mad: ) I am trying not to worry about our weight gain "issues", A is clearly fine, I've been teaching her to high five today which I think means she is a highly advanced genius child! Am theorising that instead of getting fatter, she is using all her calories to grow a massive brain

Thanks guys. My OH is with me and we are allowed to stay with him overnight. Ill post lata prob as I wont be able to sleep x

Thanks Kira, she is Breastfed, 5 weeks old I think I would have been ok about the lack of poos only or the serious straining and the feeds coming back up. Thankfully the last two feeds have stayed down so I'm no longer too worried - it was dehydration I was worrying about mainly!

Good, glad she has settled down. If worried about dehydration, depressed soft spot and reduced wet nappies are the best way to tell.
P.s, wierd as it may be, babies actually enjoy straining to some extent, its what they do! CJ used to love a good push for nowt!
