Yeah that had a lovely time thanks, my lounge is like an obstacle course! It has given me the motivation needed to get on and sell the things he has outgrown. He still has his baby gym in the loung but he hasn't used it for months! I still have all his first toys (rattles) too that he just throws at the dog!
Did you do anything for New Years?

Lol...your poor dog!
We went to my mums for new year, she had family and friends round and we slept over so could put Aiden to bed and not have to worry about waking him to go home. Did you? XLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Sunshine, what gorgeous pics and deffo a neat trick!
Thanks or all the responses for tears promise I will read and respond to them, I'm usually not this rude! But... Dewi has fed every 4 hours today. We did have a couple of early ones. Nurse has swaddled him for me to get more sleep and suggested it as a night time regime which sounds good to me if it works!
Oh I'm super pants at names on this phone. To whom ever asked, his MRI won't be until next week nowbut he's going to have a head scan done tomorrow hopefully. then we can go home! He'll have an outpatient appointment for the MRI ^^ so... could be as soon as tomorrow afternoon but I'm not holding my breath lol.

Will fully explain when we're home but basically was told he needed to be feeding and have an MRI before we could leave. Got feeding down now
and sooo glad that the MRI can be done as an outpatient
Must sleep before nurse tells me off. Maybe she will swaddle me too!?0 -
Sunshine aiden is lovely! What a cutie pie!
Bamama great that the feeding is going well. I'd love to swaddled bubs but we were told not to! Sure it changes depending who you talk to! I'm sure she would sleep better. Will speak to the midwife about it tomorrow!0 -
Yes, we were also told not to swaddle for sleeping time, as they could overheat and they cannot move or kick the fabric. But I've seen here that other midwives don't have a problem, so idk. My lo loves kicking the blankets and my flat is at around 20 degrees the whole day, so I don't think it would be ok for me anyway.
Dizzi, don't worry about milestones. Or look at other milestones you can throw in if you see they seem to question the development, which I don't think they should!! I was a prem baby, at 30.5 weeks, and I developed perfectly fine. The book from mumsnet (Why did nobody tell me?) has some paragraphs on not worrying about milestones and give the example of Einstein, who.apparently did not talk until very late because he "practised " it on his head instead for a long time, apparently some babies who seem to be delayed are in fact just learning how to do stuff "in their heads" first before attempting to do it. I'm rubbish at explaining it, but basically, do not worry, milestones are not a target that must be met by certain time, it's just a guidance and the time frame varies.enormously from child to child.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*
